"The offical snack food of West Virginia is actually Pizza Rolls. Odd but delicious!"

NO, No, No, NOT pizza rolls.
They are in fact actually PEPPERONI Rolls. And you will find them at most tailgates around Mountaineer Field.
By all means, please ask to try one. After sampling the delicious Cajun food last year at your place, it's the least we can do. I'll pack some extra just for you.

"I saw the movie "Matewan", so I know a lot about West Virginia. Saw them play last year, also."

That comment has as much validity as this: I saw the movie "Southern Comfort", so I know a lot about Louisiana.
I have read a Jefferson Parish ordinance that states: "All garbage, refuse, offal or other material other than grain foodstuffs to hogs must be cooked on the premises just prior to the feeding of the hogs."
But I choose not to think everybody in Louisiana is required to cook their garbage.
Forgive me if I don't follow your logic.
I saw the game last year too. If both teams play comparably Saturday night and WVU avoids mistakes, WVU 23 LSU 19.

Oh, Oregon by far.
WVU has no chance against LSU.
They'll fold like a cheap suit.
I wouldn't worry about about the Mountaineers.
LSU in a cakewalk, easily.
Put it in the books as a W.

Hide your cheerleaders...
1. I had a great time visiting Baton Rouge last year - best hospitality ever experienced at a WVU away game. And better tailgate food than most restaurants. Very much appreciated was your fans' recognition that our band is pretty good.
2. I sincerely hope that all LSU fans coming to Morgantown this year will have an enjoyable visit - other than losing the game. Be prepared to hear a little worse than "Tiger Bait," but understand that the great majority of WVU fans are no different than LSU's - we love our team and our players, and are good sports.
3. Last year's game was more closely contested than many LSU fans will concede. Our players were mad afterward as they knew they could have won. But for the costly fumble on our 7 yd line and the flawed punt right to Peterson, WVU should have won.
4. It has been correctly stated that WVU's only advantage come September 24 is its home field - do not take this lightly.
5. If you are coming to the game and have an extra day, I recommend Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley - 75 miles from Morgantown and some of WV's best scenery. Circle back though Elkins - where Pistol Pete Maravich lived while his Dad coached at Davis & Elkins College (Press' alma mater).
5. May the best team win.
PS I've been an LSU fan since "The Chinese Bandits' - even though my two daughters are Kentucky alums.

Apologies to the good natured LSU fans, but this OSU jerk gives real sports fans a bad name. That said, he defends his mascot with “It took that f****** Rufus a solid minute to get Brutus on the ground.”
I think Brutus is played by a girl - at least some of the time. At a Columbus Crew mascot day 10 years ago, I shook hands with "Brutus" and got a very weak, effeminate handshake. Maybe it should be renamed Bruta, to discourage unwelcome, undefended assaults.
Nice team, nice band. Mascot sucks.
Brutus appears on EVERY worst mascot list I've seen. Other than furry fruits and vegetables, I place Brutus either worst or second - maybe after that idiot Providence cross between an ugly nun and Ghostface.
One last shot. At which Goodwill does Brutus get those hand me down PJs?

In the @#%$ stadium!
Second closest I've come to cutting my wrists after a 1996 loss to Miami on a last minute punt block.
By my reasoning LSU owes WVU for that national championship. Saturday night would be a nice opportunity for a recompense.

re: Bill Stewart...

Besides being considered a good a decent human being by discerning fans as well as recruits and their parents:
1. Bill Stewart has a better winning percentage after two years than any other coach in WVU’s 100 year history;
2. Bill Stewart’s current staff has a total of 160 years DI experience (His first had 144, compared to his predecessor’s 2007 staff’s 99 years);
3. Bill Stewart’s three recruiting classes have been ranked by Scout.com an average of 29th best in NCAA, compared to his predecessor’s average of 42nd.
4. When he was the top assistant, he traveled 300 miles RT every February signing day to our Charleston WVU Fan club to give us a player by player rundown.
