Our suspension policy is no longer 6 consecutive games. Coach can choose which 6. Thank Will Wade for that

Everyone just needs to chill out and wait for the info to come out...
While we wait, I’m dancing naked in my backyard about this news and ordering more title game tickets

FYI, VolTiger13 said earliest he could play due to suspension is the CFP title game I think
If true, I dont believe he would have come back at all.
He is a senior, correct?
So it isnt like he is coming back to be ready for next season.
Yes playing for a Championship is great but I just dont see him coming back to practice this week if he isnt playing until then, if we make it there.

I would think that if he was suspended for 6 games, it would have to be 6 consecutive games. He played in the 3 games prior to Alabama. So if he was really suspended, I think Alabama and Ole Miss are the first 2 games of that suspension since the other 3 he missed were early in the season. So if he was suspended 6 games, the national championship game would be the one he could return for.
That is wholly incorrect. Charles has missed non consecutive games while servicing a 6 game suspension.

Pretty sure this is a in house issue and we could just tell the compliance department to frick off

I was very critical of him for quitting on his team mates. I’m very proud of him for his decision. This took a lot of courage and dedication to make this decision. I hope he earns his way back on this team and is able to contribute.

Hope you're right, but not how it was explained to me.

Bama, Ole Miss, Pig People, TAMU, SECG, 1st playoff...that’s 6 so Natty would be first game back...am I missing something??

I've never heard of a 6 game suspension that allows a player to sit out 3 games, then play in 3 games, then sit for 3 more to finish the suspension.
We did this with every player that was on that 6 game suspension

He didn’t. Divinity did

Orgeron should tell compliance that Divinity is sitting out the first four games of next season.
If compliance says he would have no more eligibility next season, reply, “so what”.

Try Mississippi State. 8 suspended players suspended for multiple games, but not consecutive games. The coach chose the games.

If it’s failed drug test for weed, the NCAA doesn’t test for weed. (Remember the “tampered drug test). Bama does not test for weed. Not sure why we do.

I don’t want to derail this thread to talk about the compliance department. It is what it is. But please tell me after this season O or Woodward plan to address the rules and try and change them?
I know they can’t do that during the season but for the love of God we need folks lobbying to change the damn rules.
