I've brought friends in before and the guy at the ticket office (usually students work there) was cool about it and gave us all seats together. The non-students just had to pay. I don't know if they're allowed to do this all the time. But it's usually not just students in our section. So, they might not mind.

So you have to get tickets in advance as a student? I know for basketball and volleyball games you can just go in and swipe your ID and walk in, so I figured all non-football sports were the same way. So if I'm understanding you correctly, I can go to the box office with my ID, my gf, her ID, and some money and get 3 tickets all next to each other?

Students can get their tickets two hours before game time. I would suggest looking on the marketplace for some grandstand seats. They are only $15/seat and great seats.

Yes. You go to the ticket office at the Box. Give them your Ids, tell them you have one more with you (who will have to pay $10). They will hand you 3 tickets with seat numbers and all on them. You can go in the game whenever you want. They only scan the ticket at the gate, not the ID.
Students can get them 2 hours before the game. If it's a small game, you don't need to be there that early, 30 minutes prior is fine.

Okay, great. Thanks for your help. Do you know what sections those tickets would be in? Just wondering if the $15 seats would be worth it.

101, 102, or 201. Those are the only sections I've been put in during regular season games. If you get there early, you'll get the lower sections (101 or 102) if you get there late you'll likely be up in 201. If it's really packed (SEC or opening weekend) they might run out and give you STO. But that only happened to me twice all season (Opening night, and an SEC game I was a half hour late for).
