The bottom line is the coaches did not prepare for a scenerio where they convert a 1st down, and have to get the FG unit on the field. If they have time to run Jefferson and the OL down the field for the final play, they have time to run the FG team out there. Total cluster frick.

You can see him calling for the spike as an initial reaction immediately after the catch. But that's not even close as far as timing when all the players were lined up looking for a call. So this is a bit of creative editing. Miles clearly said at the end of the game that the loss (or in his goofy arse way, the fact we did not come in first place in the game) was his fault.

But in any event, I don't need Les to throw JJ under the bus to be pissed at him. The clock management was the worst I've ever seen and this clearly puts him on the hot seat going into next year no matter what happens the rest of this year.

You're ALL WRONG. At first Les is skipping with joy because he thinks we're about to win, and later, he's telling JJ to spike the ball in the endzone after he runs in the score!

Signed, Les's mom

LM is just like the the guy i shot pool with friday , he's always right no matter what, and saving his arse, status or image is his # 1 priorty. i'm through with both of them waggle tongue AO's.
JJ's right to tell it like it is, i sure don't let a waggle tongue pull no crap on me.
LM's would be the last guy i would go to war with, he has slighted common sense, he would get you killed and if he lives, he would still be right, because that's the way he rolls.

My point is the video only shows Miles calling for possession. It cannot be used by WBRZ as evidence of a spike call. I have no clue about the actual call, only what is on the video.

then I don't know what you are looking at then because the end of the video that is a very clear spike call being given by Miles and IF ITS NOT a spike call signal then he needs to find another signal motion for the call he is trying to make so not to confuse a young qb in that pressure cooker moment to mistake your signal for a spike call cause anyone that has watched football even for a short period of time knows that is the universal signal in football for the spike Miles is giving...

Again, not a spike.
As shown in the video at 1:25, when the UM player came up with the ball, Miles went nuts, signaling TT was down with his hands.

This is the stuff that makes people hate LSU fans. Its almost crystal clear that Miles was was reacting to the Ole Miss player claiming he came up with the ball. It was not a spike movement on Miles' part.

Even the sports media is changing its tune. Several writers have said the clock ran out before the snap, so no play would have been successful.

Thank you. I think Miles needs to go as much as the next guy. But LSU fans rash judgement on the "spike" is just incorrect.
