I think JL is the better passer AT THIS POINT. He is really off sometimes but REALLY ON at others (Troy - 2nd half, Auburn - 2nd half). JJhas better pocket presence and a better feel of when to run, but then again, Hatch does both of these things better than JL too. If i need someone to march us down the field late in the 4th for a score, im sticking with JL.

I was on the JL bandwagon until the end of the Bama game, then I got off.

I think Jefferson has more of an upside than Lee. He can run and throw. But I guess it is just which one shows the most improvement in the offseason.

There were a couple of games (and Bama immed jumps to mind) where a JL mistake put the defense in a bad spot.

I'm not saying that to rag on JL...just remember that this team was pretty mediocre all year. JL sucked, defense sucked, oline sucked...there was plenty of blame to go around.

Generally speaking, JJ makes better decisions than JL.

JL just doesn't play like he understands the game as well as JJ.

With more playing time, JJ will get even better.

To me its like the Jamie Howard to Herb Tyler transition.

Lee would be a suitable backup.

no you and JL

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if even JL didn't think he was better than JJ...and that's part of the problem.

To be "the man" at such a position, you gotta have some sonofabitch in you, and JL sure seems to be lacking that, personality-wise.

Dude may well think, "Well, Jordan does know how to look off his receivers pretty well..."

I actually agree with you. Lee was thrown into the fire and things snowballed on him. By the time Jefferson came in he (Jefferson) had nothing to lose.

I agree.

JLee's losses in games he started and finshed were to UF, GA, Bama. All have been ranked 1 or 2 at some point this year.

JJ loss was to Ark.

The loss to Bama could have easily been a win. Yes JLee made a couple of mistakes. But the stupid play calls in OT were not on JLee, nor was the dropped touchdown pass or the bobble that gave Bama it's first INT.

this is undoubtedly some of the dumbest logic ive ever seen on this board

It seems the rant has hashed this out, obviating the need for you to post this thread. Can you back up why you are a J.L. fan with new insight?

Oh hell no, without a doubt I think JL is better then JJ.

As a matter of fact, anyone who has any knowledge of football should be able to notice that. But of course, that is not always the case!!

Nope. I'm with you msutiger. I do think that JJ has the potential to be the better quarterback another year or two down the though.

Good point although I think you meant road

I don't think you are alone. Just not many of us. Even though he helped LSU win games this year. Those that think JJ is better have only one thing to answer with and that is the amount of picks for touchdowns let up by the offense.
That is the only thing i see. JJ can run better. He sure did run better and burned time off instead releasing a pass with time running out. That is what I saw.
What I think is JL and JJ can help LSU win games working together. I am not sure if one is better per say than the other, just they both have their talents and we need to make use of them both.
A divided house is weak and we need to be strong.
