You really think that’s gonna happen??????

If Fulton can lock down half of the field it will be fun to watch teams challenge Stingley. He will take some lumps as a freshman, but I think he's going to give plenty more of his own.

Easily. We have arguably both the best safety and corner in all of college football.

The return of Chaisson, if he can be the pass rusher we think he is, is going to be huge for our already extremely talented secondary.
Our sack leader last year was Delpit with 5 sacks. Having a real pass rush threat off the edge is going to be a game changer.

Position by position, LSU definitely has one of the top 2 or 3 secondaries. But the pass rush up front will determine how dominant they can truly be.

So pumped for the season. Our OL determines our level of success. If they can grow a pair by Bama game the sky is th limit.

Our secondary should allow us to be more aggressive blitzing

As long as the pass rush comes through, the backfield should Salty AF

Our BOLB being able to get to the QB will be the difference.
Our Secondaey was great at time last year.
Aranda isn’t an all out blitz kind of guy. We probably got as many or more Non DL sacks than anyone in the country. But our whole DL (including the BOLB) gave us like 14.5 sacks.
And a chunk of those came Against Rice and Southeastern.
Chaisson had as many sacks before his against Miami as his backups did the next 12 games.
Clemson, who lead the country in sacks had 27 sacks from their grating DL.

I know...I just think he could be more aggressive with the potential of how good our secondary can be. I trust him to stop offenses better than me
i just love killing the qb

Who’s starting at safety opposite of Delpit?
Posted on 7/31/19 at 1:23 pm to Topwater Trout
I just Don’t think it will ever be his style.
He’s very much into sending the right guy at the right spot rather than sending just a ton of guys.
We just need more from the DL.
There is no great pass rushing team out who top pass rushers are coming on blitzes. You need your from 4 to produce.
