“ You know Brad, LSU won this game. But they did it by playing like an Alabama team. So really LSU didn’t win this game, Alabama beat Alabama. When you think of it like that, even though they lost by 38 points, you still have to put Nick Saban and Alabama in the playoff. LSU still has something to prove. If they don’t want the SEC Championship game, I’m not sure you can put them in the playoff ahead of this Bama team.”

If Bama is losing: “these are clearly the two best teams in football and both deserve to be in the playoff”
If LSU is losing: “there is obviously a big gap in between Ohio State, Clemson, Bama - and the rest of the field. They’ve separated themselves.”
