Tryin to Pass the Time till kickoff
5.Hester
4.Faulk
3.Reid
2.CJ
1 Tyrann Mathieu--dude's off the chain

A list like this that doesn't include Pete Maravich lacks even a semblance of creidbility.

Your inability to comprehend the thread title makes your take pretty lacking as well

I'm surprised Wally Pontiff hasn't shown up on any lists. He might not have been the best athleticly, but he could change a game everytime he went to bat. And he was a great representative of LSU student athletics.

And you didn't even make Shaq (who has a statue btw) an honorable mention? Or Pistol Pete?

Wow.

I'm going back to late 70's/early 80's, so:
1) Chris Jackson
2) Dalton Hilliard
3) the Shaqtus
4) Cecil Collins
5) Tyrann Mathieu

Those guys stand out to me because they always seemed to do something special at least once a game. For pure entertainment value, that's my top 5. Others close to that group:
Tyrus, Dewayne Scales, Wendell, Hodson, Peterson, Faulk, Special K, Trindon, Vernell, Michael Brooks

I will have to add the 2003 LSU football defensive unit. Yes, I know it wasn't an individual player, I'm naming them anyway as one of the top players to watch.

If you don't agree with me you are a negatiger who leaves the game at halftime because your girlfriend wants you to run to the store to get some tampons.

foshizzle, saw shaq play when I was 14, and met him once. He was dynamic in college but left early and , well the rest is history. Didn't remember him standing out beyond CJ, or much more than Stanley while at LSU.

Pistol Pete woulda been #1, but was before my time.

That I SAW in a LSU uni:

1. Shaq
2. PP7
3. Kevin Faulk
4. Chris Jackson was unreal his freshman year
5. Bert Jones

could do a list of 20 and still leave some off

TWalker, ABelle, JWilliams, HiC, Rudy, Hodson, Cecil, Dalton/James Gang, 82 Defense, 11 Defense just goes on and on

Bert Jones is the first LSU guy I remember loving to watch

I will not put Honey Badger on the list until his career is over, but at this rate, he'll make it. My top 5, with most of it coming from my youth:

5.)Ben McDonald
4.)Chris Jackson
3.)Jacob Hester
2.)Shaquille O'Neal
1.)Ricky Blanton

And with all kinds of love for Les and Skip, Dale Brown was my favorite coach to watch.
