The pissing matches are getting tiresome. Fact is both teams and sets of fans want their team to win tonight. I'm just hoping for decent weather and a good game with the Tigers coming out on top. Shake hands and send them back to their city.

agreed. seems like a pretty obvious statement.

none of this makes his statement factual though.

Jordy just gave his rant on the rivalry.

"There is no fire on it" "ULL can't do it"

Why are you guys so scared to entertain the idea of baseball possibly being a rivalry? You have a ranked in-state team coming to your house. Be excited to watch some good baseball.

It will be good baseball. That doesn't make it a rivalry. Usually, that implies evenly matched for multiple years.

Florida and Florida State????

A very accurate description would be South Carolina and the Citadel. South Carolina has 11 CWS berths, and 2 national titles, and 4 runner-up finishes. The Citadel has 1 CWS berth in 1990.

That is similar to the LSU/UL-L "rivalry".

I just don't get why LSU fans are so up in arms about stuff like this?? It's nuts?! They have a very good baseball team and so do we, it's going to be a good game. It's always a game for instate bragging rights. I agree that the analogy is off but I'm not going to try and degrade them, that's just insecure and lots of LSU fans are for some reason?! Not this one 7-3 Tigers win today.
