Wilson Alexander (Advocate)

1. Smith
2. Broussard
3. Duplantis
4. Cabrera
5. Beloso
6. Willis
7. DiGiacomo
8. Garza
9. Bianco

Catcher Brock Mathis is out tonight, an #LSU spokesman said. He took a foul ball off his hand yesterday.

James Moran

We're not sure if Zach Watson and Chris Reid are available at all tonight, but if they're not, this is #LSU's bench in terms of healthy position players:

Braden Doughty
*end of list*

It sucks to have a pit of the stomach issue on baseball game day.

Bizarre, really.

But yet we are not allowed to use injuries as a reason for the team’s current struggles.

It’s not the only reason but it is a big one and I don’t think it’s an excuse. I think it’s a reality this team has to deal with. Need to overcome and adapt the best you can to try and move forward.

Season long struggles huh? You mean, like how we were in first place in the West before all these latest injuries occured?

Are you talking about the struggle when they beat top 5 Mississippi State on the road? Or when they beat ranked A&M at home? The lineup was healthy for the most part those two weekends.

Best hitter went out with injury (Dugas) not back yet
Garza not 100% from fall surgery
Willis not 100% from surgery

Also playing younger guys (Beloso, Willis, Gio, Bianco)

ETA
And still in the top of the West

Here are the facts.

We have 5 of 9 regular position player starters who aren't healthy. Majority of those not even capable of playing at all.

All three of our weekend starters, to start the season, will not start this weekend. 2 of the 3 will not pitch at all for sure.

These are things that no team in the nation can over come (I'm crossing my fingers we can someone this weekend). I can't, for the life of me, comprehend how some people can't understand this. It infuriates me, and I wouldn't even be on the rant now if it wasn't for the greatness of Woodward right now. This place is a cesspool of stupidity when it comes to baseball.

I'm 10000000% certain that Woodward would think you are a total dumbass if you had the balls to say this to him personally.

You wouldn't ever say that though, because luckily you have the ability to hide behind a username on a message board.

Henry is going to show us how big his balls are tonight.

Figuratively speaking of course. I'm not saying he's going to expose himself in public.
