This doesn’t surprise me…..I’d be absolutely not surprised, and completely Ok, if he doesn’t pitch at all tomorrow….although I think he will go 2 at most to close it if need be.

No more Guidry. Breaking balls hanging over the plate tend to dissappear.

I’d bet them and maybe his family…..he’s got generational life changing money coming his way why risk that???

If Skenes only gets 2-5 innings, I’d like someone else to get the start then enter Skenes when we need to stop a threat.

Bruh some of yall have lost yalls mind. Dude is on 4 DAYS REST. Not 3, not 2. He threw 120 on 4 days rest 4 days ago. He will go at least 100 tomorrow. I don't understand how some of yall add. It was pretty much always drawn up like this. That is why it was big for us to win one of the first games with Floyd.

Saturday 123 pitches
Thursday 120 pitches
Monday ??? pitches

Now slowly count for me the rest in between those 3 starts.

Slowly, I mean like REALLY slowly. To the point your brain can come remotely close to comprehending.

This is why I was so bummed that we got the Saturday start vs the Friday start when the CWS began.

Otherwise we wouldn't be having any of this conversation because his starts would have been perfectly four days apart.

As long as Skenes is pitching well, he ain't going till he hits 80 pitches.

That's fair.

I have it anywhere between 50 and topping out at 90. If he goes beyond that, he's Batman.

What's Florida's situation here. Did they pitch their equivalent of dutton and little or did they use real relief arms today?
