I think Washington makes Grubb the HC.

Just kind of a "why not?" moment for them.

They probably don't have anyone better in mind. This might keep some guys from transferring. It'll keep Grubb from going somewhere else. And he's shown he can at least run an offense.

The problem is I like Sloan as QB coach.

Can Sloan do both OC and QB coach effectively?

He did it for 2 years at Tech before he came here, but not great results since those were Skip Holtz final 2 years

I think Tommy Rees will be our next OC.

Here is what Nick Saban said about Rees, ""Tommy Rees is one of the brightest young guys that I've seen in a long time in this business, and he's been a great addition and brought a lot of positives to the offensive side of the ball in terms of his ideas and how he relates to players, how he presents to players, his energy and enthusiasm on the field has been contagious," Saban said. "I think I see a great trust in our players with Tommy and what he tries to do from a leadership standpoint on offense."

That's one he'll of an endorsement from a perfectionist like Saban.

Dude I want absolutely no part of Rees.

Apart from just thinking he's not good, he actually turned down BK to come with him to LSU.

Freeman said yes, then got offered the HC job. But Rees said no from the get go.

frick that dude.

Same. It would have been interesting to see how he would have adjusted if we had spied Milroe.

Let us hope that happens and the DC stays with him... Washington was one well coached team....
