I saw the same piece on sportscenter. There was a list of four people that preceded it with Teddy Bridgewater on it that was meant to be his Heisman watch. The part with mett and Winston seemed to be more like an honorable mention. He did go on to say that no one he has seen has had a turn around like mett. Overall he was very impressed with how he is playing.

Brett Hundley is a baller in his own right. Just b/c they're in the puss 12...er...um...I mean Pac-12 doesn't mean they don't have some talent.

Hell, Reggie Bush played in the Pac-10.

how come its always the "next" games that will prove him? I'll be glad when the "next" game is over.

Swampking, I like the way you think...and if he has a decent game under bad circumstances, his status will continue to rise...as it should...as far as pressure, Mett has always put it on himself...he has true confidence...not the BS kind...he reminds me of Roth. at the Steelers...big and confident...sometimes to the point of...let's just say that Coach Cam has done a hell of a job...and now has to level it out a little and put it on cruise control...lol...lol...keep it cool, Mett!

The only thing that I'm implying is that he is big and confident...even under stress the last years disappointments...he's for real in my book...but moderation is a virtue as well...keep it cool Mett!

I would love more than anything to see Mettenberger as a Heisman candidate. I am worried his personal life will be exposed and that could make us look bad.
