I know people around here hate it but we share a similar mindset. However, I won't be on here bashing Les, the players, and the coaches after the game. With all the injuries and everything that has gone on with this years squad I think 10-2 is a damn fine season.

Exactly what ive been saying. Fluker is not good in pass protection. Mingo needs to have a field day.

McShay says we win 1 of 20 matchups, but how many does Bama WIN and how many are a PUSH. I doubt Bama WINS more than a handful of 20 matchups either.
Good question and I honestly don't have the answer, but if I was a Bama fan, I'd take those odds. You?

[quote]Like someone said earlier, why would it be THIS week that it all comes together on offense and we do to the best team in the country what we haven't been able to do all year.[/quote

Because other teams have looked good then looked like shite. And looked like shite then really good. But its not possible for the tigers to play their best game and win?

No they don't. Teams beat Bama by being balanced and Bama is great at forcing teams to be one dimensional.

The last 4 teams that beat Alabama have rushed a minimum of 37 times and passed at most 20 times.

We have to be successful running the ball

Well, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. But the odds?

Let me check with Momma and I'll get back to you on this.

I'm really starting to feel good about Saturday night. I'm ready for it. I'm really starting to feel like some of the chemistry that's developed over the past few weeks comes to play.

The bottom line is we don't match up very well in this game, whether you want to agree with McShay or not

Where are you getting this crap? LSU is probably the only team who can matchup virtually everywhere with Bama. It doesn't mean a victory but man-for-man no one else can matchup as equally.

I think people are overstating the matchups, yes Alabama probably up to this point looks better in most of them but all in all they are playing better as a team and that's bound to happen obviously. Having said that, I don't think the matchup edges are THAT much in Bama's favor. Like an earlier poster said, I like our DB's on their WR's, I think our LB's can stop their run and I believe our DL will get pressure. I'll take our running game with Ford and Hill's ability to get to the outside. I think Mett will have time to throw. I also like our ST's mainly on Punt and Kickoff return.

***nobody has really mentioned Wing, I think 1) he's due for a big game and 2) if he can create the field advantage for LSU, that would be HUGE!!***

He got it from Todd McShay. Apparently since Mr McShay gets paid to give his opinion on football, he knows more than the peasant LSU fan. I've about had it with the gloom and doom bullshite on this board.

Naw, it surely doesn't. My buddy redfieldk717 says he's going to the game and we got this. If we do, I will be higher than a giraffe's pussy.

If McShay was a legit draft analyzer, wouldn't he be working for an NFL team and not ESPN?

We got out-manned and physically abused by a mediocre Florida squad. Alabama is better in every single facet of the game, but I guess since we are playing at home and at night all is good in the world
