17 billion is pretty remarkable. But I think it speaks to how bad consistency and customer service has gotten in the fast food business. Whether you like Canes or not, their product/taste is consistent and their customer service is very good. They are always friendly and their stores always seem clean to me (similar to Chick-fil-A).

They have a simple menu and they don't screw up your order. And although people could make the sauce at home, it's good and nobody wants to spend time trying to recreate something at home.

“Why would he? He is a Georgia alum”

Believe his partner wasLSU guy.. still in BR .

Todd has a pretty big house on the lakes looking at LSU

His first store was a block off lsu.. good business… but he started doing tailgate boxes… I always figured that was what catapulted his business.. he sold/sells a
LOT of chicken finger tailgating boxes!!

Yeah I imagine he is generous to lsu.. you see him now and then in public but I bet a lot more behind scenes gifts.. there are a few families that give a lot and are not publicized.

He has about 7-8 LSU athletes advertising for his business. Pretty sure that's NIL-based money for those athletes.

That’s not what made him the money. That was just two of the many things he had to do to create, start, grow, staff, and finance a business. And even that list isn’t the half of it.

It didn't hurt that he had the playbook on how to run a successful QSR from his wife (and her father)..

I’m not familiar with that. What’s the story?
