Ah but you miss one key element to that.
The Lady Tigers are like our daughters or sisters. We want them to win anything they do. But we don't give a shite about the neighbor's/boss'/coworkers daughter. And deep down inside, we may even go as far as to pretend to show support for our niece (others in the SEC) in the same sports, but we don't actually care if they win or lose.

I tried watching the semifinals but everything is played within two feet of the basket. Boring! Layup after layup. Only three I saw was the one that won it.
