I'm quite thrilled to learn that the LSU Athletics Department has become the first profit-making entity in human history to be immune to market forces in pricing, and that they would never ever increase prices simply to raise their bottom line; rather, they only raise prices and add fees to exactly offset the additional costs of burdens placed upon them by their consumers.

Prisoners and volunteer groups from the university along with facility services. That's all I got.

They aren't volunteers though. Most are student groups that do it for fundraising. The athletic department gives them money.

From what I read, the parking fees are not going to the Athletic department, they are being charged by the university. Unlike concessions, tickets, Tradition fund. The university wants its piece of the pie.
