Mainieri was letting this program slip into mediocrity the last few years. (But at least they could field and make a throw to 1st) )It’s going to take a couple of classes and yearly transfers to bring it back and hopefully sustain it. But The days of dominating like skip did for a decade are probably in the past.

Ron Polk and Skip built this thing. The CA and AZ schools used to own the sport and now you’re guaranteed to have a SEC school in the mix every year. South Carolina, Florida and Vandy have all taken turns at the top but probably did not “dominate” the league, exactly. Right now, the Arky and Tenn programs are up and Miss St won the whole thing last year. We made it to the Supers last year - everyone calm down and cheer and let’s get hot in the post season
