was sort of meh about him during all of the hubbub about trying to lure him here, the kid has been pretty impressive though

Absolutely. And this was his first year starting. Imagine working with his receivers this spring and summer.

You gotta believe his teammates love his toughness and commitment.

Did you hear the announcers talk about how he PASSED OUT during the A&M game? Dude literally gave 100%, they stuck an IV in him, and he gave more. Dude has earned my respect. I'll never question his toughness and leadership. That's I guy that I would not only want to play for, but get better for.

Here I go letting myself get excited for 2019... Oh well.

Really, if you remove his first two games from the season and you average out what he did the final 11 games, he's already became essentially a 3100 yard a year passer in the SEC. Anything above that is damn strong especially for a run oriented ball control type offense.

Yep, that's a pretty damn good year for a first year starter in a new offense

3293 total yds and 23 Td's for a first year starter and inconsistency at the WR position. He just might make a run next year! Can't wait!

The kid plays QB with a LBers mentality.

Which is frustraiting to watch when he runs the ball

I don't want him thinking he has has to truck every 210lbs Safety he see's

Ned to keep him healthy

It’s very rare we see a player with nearly five-star talent and five-star heart at such a vital position at LSU. Let’s enjoy him.

I definitely like him as a player/leader on the team.

He has some weaknesses. But the dude is flat out going to leave it on the field and, he's got real talent overall.

He also progressed this year. It's easy to forget he arrived in the summer but that's no a huge difference from having an entire off season to prepare.
