Les needs engineer his O around Etling, not Leonard.
That may be a hard pill for some fans to swallow but it has to be. Leonard will still get his touches and yards and D's will no longer be able to over-commit to stopping the run.
(Etling better not let me down now!)

Les can't develop a game plan, mush less an offense

I wouldn't go that far. It's just about balance. When u run almost 70% of the time U won't win any championship. Etling so far gives Cameron the ability to do that. I think because of etling miles will back off of cam. They never trusted Harris and it was obvious. He had a chance week 1 and cam put the gsme completely on his shoulders late and it cost us.

He needs to engineer his offense around both, at the same time, which is what good offensive philosophies do.

If you continue to give Leonard the same touches then how do you engineer the offense around Etling?
BTW, the offense was very balanced last week, with nearly as many pass plays as run plays. It should stay just like that.

Play one game passing the ball on 80% of the plays. This will confuse every defense that plays LSU for the rest of the year.
