so your answer to prove anything true in the op is by spewing "prove any of it wrong"....really? Ok, you want it line by line or just by sentence structure?

1. there is no way, with certainty, that you can provide statistics to back this assertion up. You have no idea how many individuals that are members of the tiger rant are "young kids", which as by legal standards would be defined as under 18.

2. You have no way to prove that the first false assumption is true, therefore rendering the secondary topic as false as well. We haven't gotten into the end of the first sentence, and already we have a liar.

You guys talk about the lsu program in a decline, etc

3. Who are "you guys"? The assumptive collective that you address in the first line, which is already in falsities as is? Absolute failure of academic registration on your part.

Keep in mind, lsu played against NINE bowl eligible teams this year, so no walk in the park.

4. You might want to recheck this.

Most of the points you made were correct and I agreed with them, but you were mainly looking for a fight by using the tone you did. It couldn't help but attract the most lowly of the humanoids on here. I have been guilty of this myself many times, purposely using inflammatory language to bait someone into a war of words, just for sport. I do try to resist this urge as much as possible. You can't have your cake and eat it too however, you started out poking them so you have to accept that they took the bait.

I think you would be better served taking a more civil approach and just logically break down those posters such as Dukke v, jdrumdog, and LSUmafia, who tend to be on the negative side of things. You have a good sense of national perspective as related to LSU, so though it will be a mostly fruitless pursuit, passing that perspective along in a more gentle manner will give it a better chance to succeed. I promise to try to be better at this myself, though I must admit sometimes it is just more entertaining to question each others sexual orientation and our mothers morality than it is to banter reasonably. Why else would one even participate in a message board!!

Hes under the assumption every single LSU fan is livid about being 10-2 this year
When a lot of us "kids" said 9-3 or 10-2 anyway.

I think the OP finally took his ball and went home.

So now you are saying meyers 7-5 record is better than the 7-5 record of les? lmao...and you talk about my thought process....wow....meyer is a good coach....he got the benefit of tim tebow by his side for 4 years.....and i believe he has exactly 2 more wins than miles during the same period of time......i might add florida is absolutely loaded with talent, even more so than lsu...so don't give me that shite....

Until this becomes a pattern and he loses to a team with a losing record this season, which he didn't, but Les surely did, than you talk. It's one bad year and doesn't defend Les in the least. What part of being 13-1 3 times in his first 5 years do you not get? His best records were still maintained even when it was predominantly his recruits.

quote:

As for your blow buddy saban....this mf loses to ulm, among SEVERAL unranked teams during his career at bama and LSU. He lost to fricking Utah, and didn't just lose, but got embarrassed and embarrassed the SEC on national TV and now we have to put up with the little guy shite because of utah beating bama....

When did Saban lose to unranked teams since his first year after building the program? None. Nada. Zilch. Again, he builds the program up to a National title contender unlike Miles who took over one and is criticized when they lose 3 games by a combined 17 points. LSU lost to UF alone in 2008 by 30 and not to mention a 4-7 Arkansas team.

LSU lost 1 CB, 1 safety, 3 mediocre defensive lineman and 2 LBers. Do you honestly think those guys meant as much to LSU's defense as the ones Bama lost? Despite that, they still went 9-3 with a pretty damn tough schedule. They also beat Arkansas (which we didn't), beat UF by 20+ points, beat Tennessee b 20+ points, beat Ole Miss by 20+ points. Those were all games that we needed last minute drives to win or actually lost.

Funny how the QB excuse has been used to defend Les for 3 straight years.

I thought we'd have 3 losses this year. I also said that if we go 4-4 in the SEC, Miles should go. We did not and he is our coach. I guess I'm a child.

I do enjoy being ecstatic over a 10-2 record, yet I can't enjoy it because I'm "negative". Really?

Any reason you can't just be a fan of LSU instead of dragging people through the mud?

I certainly thought we were going 9-3 this year, or possibly 8-4. I don't think that was way off base. I'm fricking happy as shite we're ranked in the top 10, but apparently I'm not allowed to be happy about our ranking or our record.

I'm 26, and I've had 43 year olds work under me before.

You want to talk to me about entitlement?

Age doesn't entitle you to respect. Get over it. If you're 43, that means you got your MBA what... 15-18 years ago? Thats a real quality education right there, and relevant too. You're piss poor attitude comes from a (recently failed) corporate industry in which seniority dominated the work space... old people cry because these "young kids" come in thinking they are "entitled" to promotions and such, but that's not the case.

All of a sudden, companies started making cut backs, and Billy the boss blower, who's been "waiting in line" for 15 years gets canned instead of that promotion because all he knows how to do is show up to work on time and bring his boss donuts and coffee and compliment him/ or her whenever he sees them.

The new kid who didn't get fired is not just cheaper, but he's hungrier, he performs better... and you know why? Look up generations on wikipedia, and you'll find that shortly after your generation, the following (youth) generations got screwed in that minimum wage doesn't allow them to feed themselves or have a place to live. They don't have the ability to sit back and work crap jobs and wait their turn in line, they need the money, just like you... and all that blowing you did... means nothing.

Welcome to reality.

-PS. Economics | Business is a social science just like psychology or sociology... get over it.

+1

I figured 9-3 with 8-4 being worst case.

Nobody thought Florida would be this bad so everyone in the 9-3 crowd was pretty spot on, but were all full blown negatigers for thinking so rationally

Wait a minute. If you're just going to point to Saban,Saban,Saban and never be happy again as an LSU fan as long as he's in Tuscaloosa, you need to remember a few things.

When was this 'building the program' completed ? What was Arkansas ranked when Saban's secondary went brain dead in Little Rock in 2002 ? I guess the 'Bluegrass Miracle' was all part of the 'process', huh ?

What was Florida ranked in 2003 ?

In 2004 after Saban's NC, look how damn close he was to 7-4 or 6-5. How many major college kickers go 0-3 in extra points like the Oregon State guy ? We won in the last minute in Gainesville that year, too, but that was 'guts' and this year was 'luck' right ? Troy was another game where it took 4th qtr heroics.

If you think Saban and Meyer are better coaches than Miles, fine. Maybe they are. But if you only focus on Miles' negatives and refuse to acknowledge when Saban or Meyer suffers a similar fate you credibility on the subject goes in the can.

Because he made it personal to the humanoids and this is what causes the most excitment at this point in the season.

Everyones personal perspectives and arguments have been posted and read dozens of times by now and with no new ground to break responding to personal attacks and ganging up on each other it what it takes to be entertained....at least until bowl week!

I don't think people are upset about our record... or even how we won those games, but I do think that our inability to dominate weaker teams and improve our offense is a good reason to be mad. Waiting week after week for LSU to "turn it on" and never seeing it sucked. I wasn't happy about paying to watch the ULM game and still not seeing an offensive performance.

I agree with this. Its just that every so often you have some new person that wants to argue and think his shite don't stink when it comes to LSU football. Some know more than most and it ticks these newcomers off that they can't get their way. I think its really funny that people say I am not an LSU fan. I am A HUGE LSU fan. Just cause I speak the truth about things I see I get bashed and called a NEGA-Tiger. I try to have a thick skin about it cause I usually get the last laugh.

he has no credibility already obviously you know that.......saban had a very subpar year in his third year at lsu, followed by an underachieving year in 2004.....it wasn't like he took over a program at alabama with no talent....the team he took over had numerous future pro players on it...and losing to ulm was inexcusable....

meyer this year got dominated by a team in alabama that lsu beat, and then lost to a team (miss state) that lsu beat by 20+....then lost by 20+ to fla state.....they are absolutely loaded with talent, but without tebow and mullen, they aren't near the same team...despite that, meyer has been a florida 6 years and miles has been at lsu six year...i believe meyer has 2 more total victories.....and that is with one of the greatest college qb's of all time for 4 years in the six years.....

he trys to spin bama by saying they beat arky and beat tenn badly.....yet lsu beat them....lol....i had forgotten about this kid...i assure you he would blow saban if given the opportunity, and he wouldn't think twice. What's funny is miles is 3-3 vs meyer and 2-2 vs saban....lol......but this guy is on their jock like sweat.......he is probably an alter for bama...but how sad to spend your days posting so much...
