So now you fricking idiots are back with the "Les won with Saban's players in 2007."

Matt Flynn, Glenn Dorsey, Jacob Hester, and the other seniors on that team spent three years being coached by Les Miles.

They were MILES'S players.

... or what happened?

Did Saban sprinkle magic pixie dust on them from Miami and Tuscaloosa?

While this season will tell the tale about Les Miles's long-term future in Baton Rouge, the rantards on this board rehashing this same bullshite make LSU a laughingstock a helluva lot more than Les Miles does.

Where have you been? We are already the laughing stock of not only college football but all of sports. Hell, we transcend sports. We are a cultural phenomenon. We're fodder for any comic with a mic and a spotlight.

If Byrd doesn't catch that, then we have another clock management debacle on our hands. If you recall, Les didn't realize that the time was running on the clock when he called that pass.

Les was both incredibly lucky and working with players that had experience being coached by others. We were finishing seasons with great records and no one complains when that's the case. He had a likeable attitude and he's a great guy. It's easy to rally around that.

But now his luck is wearing thin, and when we see the product on the field, we can tell he and his staff aren't good at coaching these boys.

That doesn't mean he isn't a likeable, nice guy. That's why we're recruiting so well. But when his luck runs out completely, we'll just be left with highly talented, yet undisciplined kids on the field. He doesn't have the reputation that he once did. His recruiting power will decline, and we won't even have the talent on the team.

Other teams with good coaches can build their program against less talented players and pull off the wins in college. I don't think we can do the opposite.

It just isn't working out anymore. Les can't coach and as long as he's here, I think we will field winning, but mediocre teams. If we ever want to win the SEC and compete with programs like Alabama again, we need a coaching change.

That doesn't mean I don't like the guy as a person. And that doesn't mean I will forget the memories of the good times we've had with him at the helm. It just means it's time to move on as a program.

Yes because after one or two or three or four and my gosh now five WINS we will obviously never win another game.

Until next week, but no worry, it will not be pretty so you can all still cry like little girls.

Meanwhile it's 56 and counting....

Yes that's 78.8% of the time we have stepped on the field we have won, that's better than ANY other coach in our history including Saban.

I haven't liked the offense and I was expecting better this year but I have slowly become convinced that Crowton is the biggest problem, nevertheless, Miles needs to fix it fast and be done with the Wizard.

Just as you want to hold Miles accountable for the regression on offense you have to give him credit for the improvement EVERYWHERE else, including the OL and Running game both with new coaches hired by Miles, btw.

I'm sickened by where we are right now because I've never seen a better Defense and we are so deep at the Skills we should be indestructible right now.

Miles knows it too and I think he is sick of it, from watching his presser, I just hope he employs the lesticles and goes bold with the move.

Crowton out, Billy in at OC.

Time to get on with it.

Really, then why do national talk shows bring up the same point (i.e. Les won a National Championship with Saban's players). I have actually heard that term used more by the national media than I have on this board.

Also there are few other people that Les has coached as well including the offensive group that looked like a bunch of lost puppy dogs while the clock ran out on Saturday.

Edit:

How many ESPN polls are centered around an LSU message board or fan comments?

This is the most dishonestly blatant revision of history in the entire history of CFB.

If Byrd had not made the catch we would have had 5 seconds with a dead ball AND a timeout to line up for the field goal.

This was one of the BEST calls of Les' career and for you agenda driving LIARS to keep trying to twist it is pathetic.

Call him on the OMD and ultimately last night is his responsibility but this is BS at it's finest!

Yesterday from start to finish was the worst coaching performance I have ever seen at any level.

Did you work for the Iraqi Ministry of Information around 2003?

Wrong.

Byrd made that catch w/ one second left on the clock. If it skims off his hands, the clock very likely runs out.

I think this is exactly the point. With even slightly better coaching this could be/should be much higher given the talent. I just don't understand how anyone could wake up this morning after our very talented football team barely beat a far less superior football team and think "all is right with the world." I've never been a "Negatiger", but this delusionaly sunshine is as bad as some of that.

Regardless of how much time was left, when Les was interviewed on the field after the game he had no clue how much time was left on the clock when the ball was snapped. The fact is he didn't even know now much time was left.

I can remember watching Flynn walk up to the line as the clock was ticking down and thinking "WTF? Why is he taking so long to run the play?" I honestly thought he was going to call a TO w/ one second left and bring on the FG unit.

Your comment meets the definition of SHORT SIGHTED, we're good right now, so we don't need to change anything. Being short-sighted is failing to realize what is best for the long run, your 5-0 comments shows a complete lack of foresight.

Where in my post do I say we don't have to change anything? I said we're one player short of greatness. Someone steps up at quarterback and this team can play with anyone.

you said we are 5-0 and I don't care how we got there.

That is being short-sighted. I'm glad we are 5-0, but I also realize that it is in the best interest of this program to make a change at HC. I am concerned about being 5-0 this year, but I am also concerned about what the next five years will be like with Miles.

Not caring how we got to 5-0 is being short-sighted.

I don't know why they do and I don't give a shite.

I explained it to you, dumbass.

Do you want me to write my post over again TOTALLY in one-syllable words where you can understand?

Here's what I said:

Now, Genius.

Tell me where I'm wrong.

You've already revealed you're brain dead enough that you take for gospel whatever some idiot talking-head says on ESPN, so I'm sure dealing with what I actually had to say is beyond your comprehension skills.

No dumbass you said our fanbase making comments about winning with Saban's players was making us look stupid. How does it make us look stupid if the national media is saying the same damn thing.
