Not want I meant, Peej. I'm saying that there are only negative comments and not many giving credit for the positives.

I probably stated my post poorly. I meant no threads from those that were quiet when we were winning. Those posters didn't contribute in that way.

You are just annoying. It’s aggravating to see you in every baseball thread butting heads with everyone that has a critical opinion of mainieri or the team.

Why don’t you understand that part of having the most passionate fan base in the country comes some irrational, impatient fans. It’s not the majority of fans. You won’t change them no matter how hard you try. Acting like you are better than everyone else certainly isn’t going to do it either.

Well to be fair , there are not many positives to talk about with this team... they were preseason #1 on many polls......... I know they don't mean much, but this team is not that good..............

We just had 2 really good wins on Thursday and Friday where there were 2 outstanding pitching performances and we hit the ball like crazy. It was crickets around here. That was Hold That Tiger's point.

Sorry, I'm all doped up on cold meds and cough syrup. I'm quarantined in one corner of the house in the bed and no one will come near me. Forgive me if I don't make a lot of sense.

I wish I knew, Peej. It has to fall on the head coach in the end. We've had some injuries to the staff and some guys coming back from off season surgeries, but every team has that kind of stuff. Bottom line is that we had the #1 recruiting class last season and those guys should be ready to step up and contribute when needed. Hopefully we can go on a little run as everyone is getting healthy and we have some .ore experience.

So we are right on the bubble of hosting.

Looks like 2 or 3 more midweek wins this season would have just about locked up a hosting spot.

I honestly don't think a couple of midweek games will be the difference. From what I've heard the committee is looking more at conference record, SOS and quad 1 wins.

Would have done absolutely nothing. I don’t even know our overall record and don’t particularly care as it doesn’t matter.

As I said, you have to put that on the coaches. The coaches are responsible for the product on the field.

Beloso and Garza are newcomers that have really stepped it up. Marceaux was brilliant yesterday and we're supposedly getting Hill back, so we'll see how they look next week.

it doesn't matter if we host a regional or not. LSU has lost it's last baseball game. evah

So overall record and RPI makes no difference at all to the selection committee?

Interesting take

Take away the hurt series against Missouri and that nuts game against Ole Miss and we are 19-11 being a couple injuries away from that is not bad

This is stupid. That series against Mizzou happened and that crazy game we lost against Ole miss happened which means 19-11 didn't.

I’m saying it’s not really fair to say that those games contributed to disappointment in those teams, considering those things for the most part were out of the teams control. Not the Ole Miss game but that game was just wacky all around
