The Heels' best bet to move the ball be to have Renner see significant time.

Yates will start, but according to CFL, both he and Renner will play vs LSU.

I know this is just last year but the went 3-1 in those games right. And 2 of those teams from the ACC were playing in the ACC championship game, correct? And the 2 SEC teams they were playing we would consider average at best?

Why is it funny to think that if just last year two middle of the pack SEC teams beat there 2 best teams? And when the upper half of the SEC plays against the ACC we usually win. Recently FLorida consistently beats FSU, UGA has only lost once to GT in recent memory, Ill give you that Clemson and SC has been close throughout the years if my memory serves me correct, and Vandy vs WF just makes me go who cares. The last 3 time we(LSU) have played against ACC competition the average margain of victory has been alittle less than 38 points. 38 points is pretty convincing to me that we may have an edge.

You yourself say that if an SEC team would join the ACC, they would not have as much moeny and they would lose out on some recruits who have there minds set on playing for a school in a "certain"(aka better) conference? I dont get how it so funny to think we are that much better?

many can match up with that second tier of sec teams. especially the lsu team that has been on field previous 2 seasons.

Way to go out on a limb there pal.

...says the guy who thinks the majority of posters in this thread think it is impossible for an ACC team to beat an SEC team.

Of course an ACC team can win...hell, UNC could easily win this game. But, the thought that the ACC is in the same stratosphere of the SEC as a whole is ridiculous. Top to bottom, the SEC is better and that should be pretty damn clear to everyone. And, that is pertinant because using statistics like average defense faced just isn't an apples to apples comparison.
