Jack Daniels has taken me into the 3rd but by the 4th I'm hoarse as frick! I've heard hot tea soothes strained vocal chords. At least that's what professional singers do.

I'm sneaking in some muthafukin Earl Grey tomorrow!!

Any other tips?

The trick is to start wildly beating your chest after you lose your voice

Bama Tears in the 4th will give your vocal chords the extra strength they need.

Don’t scream to where your throat feels irritated, yell from the belly/diaphragm for a much more effective volume with little irritation.

Wear a ring and bang it on the metal seats. Makes lot of noise. Learn to clap loud as frick.

You need to shout from deep in your chest and not your throat.

Yell from your gut/diaphragm not from your throat. Change your pitch frequently....sometimes high like a hyena or coyote.......sometimes low in a roar. Undulate or bring the yell staccato. Drink lots of fluids...water better than alcohol. Take Tylenol. Just yell until it feels like your head feels like it will explode....rest a moment....and then resume. Act as if your actions will be the difference between victory and defeat.

Hydration starting now. If you wait to down a bottle of water by game time it’s too late. Hydrate now and often. Also hydrate during your tailgating. A bottle of water in between each drink. Keeps you from getting too sloshed and keeps you hydrated, but true hydration starts early, as in yesterday.
