Your player made an amazing play just to even get a hand on it. Say what you want about Tebow, he was on in that game. What about his beautiful strike to murphy down the sidelines when the game was 20-14??

I don't understand why the first touchdown that McCray tipped into Harvin's hands is recognized as such a great play on Tebow's part?

Can you imagine where that game would have gone IF that ball had actually been intercepted for a pick 6 instead of tipped? I wonder...

Tebow completed only 14 passes, ran for 22 yards and even went an entire game without attempting one of those jump passes that have helped make him so famous... Tebow did not win that game.

I guess you all missed the replay showing Harvin pushing off. Every reciever uses it and it gets called like one time in ten. Fact. Harvin should have gotten flagged but he didn't and Mcray didn't have a chance to do anything but what he could.

Probably the same thing as last years Fla/Lsu game where Tebow bounced the ball off his recievers helmet and it was grabbed by a Tiger. The sports writers called it a "great defensive play" but was nothing more than chance happening. Typical media....always trying to make more than whats really there. I saw the "wounded duck" pass. I dont know if it could have been picked off (thought it was too high) but the catch was lucky.

Tebow isn't a great QB in the traditional sense, he is a great player though, but i do get sick of the media lovefest

Now I'm sure if Tebow had led Harvin correctly, he would have been AT LEAST 5 yards in front of McCray...

that is what i saw also...too bad...either way McCray should NEVER, EVER be matched up with Percy Harvin...A first grader would know that

Actually he could not have picked that off, but he should have slapped it away or to the ground. He ran a perfect tip drill for Florida. We lost let it go.

For how "off" Tebow has been this year, he is still leading the conference in Passing Efficiency. I think he is getting unfairly treated, since he DID win the Heisman last season.

But believe it or not, if we win every game from here on out, he will be in New York AGAIN for the Heisman trophy presentation.

Stats aren't all there but I do believe he has improved a lot.

Totally agree with you - this made the highlights of every show - when in reality - it was indeed not a well thrown ball. If not for a step or perhaps tipping the ball towards himself, it could have been an int.

So yes, I agree that this was an overrated play.

That play was more evidence of why McCray just for some reason gets burned badly at least once each game. If the player doesn't do it, he'll make up for it himself

Anyone have a link to this play - I did not see the push off myself - but there is little doubt this was a tone setter from the outset.

ESPN.Com might have a clip of the play. Nice little nudge but Mcray was between Harvin and the ref so he did not see it. Basic reviever trick. As far as setting the tone for a different outcome? Doubt it. Last year Fla bit into LSU pretty quick and they were still able to compete and come back to win it. LSU was just off their game and had a bad night. I saw a lot of problems on both sides of the ball for the Tigers. We had that happen last year at UGA.

I agree McCray is weak, but I really believe the safety went with the wrong receiver. They know McCray is weak and should've given him help over the top, especially when he was on Harvin.

Poor McCray. You guys are shredding him because the guy he was guarding pushed off of him. I thought it was a great effort that he made considering he got used as a human springboard right before the jump. It's really too bad that he tipped the ball up, though...

If the push of made 1 inch of difference then that was easily enough to cause an incomplete or interception to be a Florida score. Seriously did yall even watch the game?

Uhh, yeah. Did you? It's pretty clear Harvin pushed off, and had he not I think it's fair to say that Harvin wouldn't have been able to get enough separation to pull down the ball.

nice little push off by Harvin as well...

Yes, and Danielson described it as a "slight adjustment that receivers get away with from time to time"
