T-Bob's opinion on 104.5 Friday was that La'El seemed to be the most natural fit at LT; seemed really impressed with his talent.

My prediction:

LT-LCollins
LG-Fanaika
C-Porter
RG-Turner
RT-VAlexander

Williford depth at LG,RG
Hawkins depth at LT,RT
Pocic depth at LT,RT
Malone depth at C

Looking at film, Pocic has very good footwork and seems to be a natural pass blocker. I'm betting our future LT protecting the blind side. Hawkins seems more like a mauler, our future RT run blocker.

Exactly. Screw that crap. We should go full Air Raid Mike Leach style. That will solve everything.

Yes, this is true that the offense still won't be a lot better if the game plan & especially play calling does not change.

But isn't this a major reason Cam Cameron was hired to be OC?

I have read in other rant posts that he is known to like the play action, so that would require opponents to make more adjustments & not make the offense seem so predictable.

Hopefully, he'll handle the play-calling instead of the predicatable Miles/Stud combo doing it.

For any of you Todd McShay types, does Collins project to be a LT or LG in the NFL?

Offensive line could be one of the better ones by mid season. High hopes for this one. Lots of really good, young talent.

Not responding directly to you, byubengalboy, but none of you knew anything. Instead of saying what you knew was going to happen, post the plays BEFORE they're run. You'll find that you have no idea what's coming.

LSU's offense is based on doing several things really well. Then they watch the defense to determine when they start cheating toward those tendencies. That's when they break tendencies to trick the defense.

NFLDRAFTSCOUT.COM has Collins rated as the #2 Guard in the 2015 nfl draft, but you have to believe he will be rated that high for next year at tackle or guard due to his flexibility to play either position.
