With LSU fans it's always time to panic. One thing I will give Saban, he identified the "catastrophy syndrome" in LSU fans.

The talent at Bama right now is much greater than the talent at LSU in 2003.

The rest of the SEC, outside of Florida, was pretty average.

That's why two of the "average" SEC teams took the top two teams from the ACC to the woodshed.

Is it time to panic because Saban has Alabama at the top of the SEC in only 3 years? Will LSU ever see the light of day from Saban's shadow again?

yeah thats how it works. teams that are good right now will be good forever. once a team gets good they stay that way forever. its especially true in college. the top 20 will remain essentially unchanged for the next 30 years or so.

I don't understand this. If he is/was that great, why didn't Bama go after him before LSU did? Or is it that Bama can't judge a diamond in the rough. I suppose if Saban left yall would offer Urban 10 million/yr.

I will say, it certainly does take someone like Saban to get a group of Gumps together and make them understand what it is they're suppose to do.

It is like taking a great racecar driver and then putting him in the best car on the track or with the best pit crew.

Alabama is an entity in itself and when you put someone like Saban at the helm then you get what you are seeing right now at Alabama.

I was gonna make a comment about the Auburn and Tennessee games but Bama Scoop is right. Bama fans can talk all the trash they want till we prove we can beat them. Ole Miss also has earned the right to do this as well. If we LSU fans don't like it there is nothing we can do about it. We tolerate being a 2nd tier program. We make excuses for the program.

Ranter, you may think this is funny, but this is they way Bamers live. They think they are the best ever and are entitled to the most lofty of pedestals for everyone else to admire but never attain. So sad, but SO delusional.
