Brando on After Further Review in todays show (recorded yesterday)is incredible! It is well worth listening to. He reminds us of the many great things Dale Brown had done for our university on and off the court.

This is going to be a huge embarrassment for LSU. Sad sad

Nobody below the age of 50 gives a flying frick about Dale Brown, time for him to be put out to pasture.

Yea I’m torn on this one. I hate to rename it for social justice purposes only and on the other hand I don’t give a shite about Dale Brown because I think he severely under performed considering his player talent

Dale Brown/ Pat Forde / Dick Vitale can go to hell. They’re part of the reason LSU basketball will be irrelevant for the next 10 years.

Tim Brando is a ULM alum

Dale Brown never won a title. End of story.

This is classic good ole baw bullshite. No one ever did less with more.

quote:

After Indiana rallied for the victory, Knight said, "I was worried about losing until I looked down the floor and saw Dale Brown. Then I knew we had a chance."

Another ignorant and uneducated comment. Maybe go look into all the things that great man has done for the school before you choose to pick sides. It’s obvious you know nothing!

For arguably being the third most popular sport and a small tie-over for some (getting one from football to baseball season), LSU basketball sure has some strong and polarizing personalities and politicking (Dale Brown, Collis Temple, etc.)

Then name it the Huey P Long field at tiger stadium.

Win titles. That's how you get your name immortalized.

too long to listen to right now but in general I can't stand to listen to Brando, years ago when I used to be in TAF(one of the original members ,) I went to a dinner in the PMAC to celebrate Brown's career/retirement, Vitale was supposed to host it but backed out at the last minute and was replaced with Brando, he absolutely worked the room that night, did one of the best jobs I've ever seen at hosting an event like that

There’s plenty of names on bball courts in this country that don’t have national titles you idiot!!!

Listen to the podcast I sent and try to learn more about this. JESUS there are so many fools on this site. Just like the leadership in the state

He was paid well by LSU. He received due credit for 2 final fours and a couple of fairly deep runs. That’s good enough. Petit and Maravich put LSU basketball on the map, not Dale Brown. Nobody owes him any more than he has gotten
