FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Joe Alleva Makes LSU Football Game Available to All in Baton Rouge Area
GONZALES, La. (September 11, 2008) – EATEL is offering this Saturday’s LSU home game vs. North Texas on TigerVision free to all of its FiberEdge TV customers thanks to Joe Alleva. “We appreciate LSU’s Athletic Director, Joe Alleva, for securing a waiver from the SEC and ESPN to broadcast the LSU game free to all of the citizens in the Baton Rouge area, including Ascension Parish,” said Brad Supple, EATEL’s director of sales and marketing. EATEL will broadcast the game this Saturday night on EATEL Channel 4. “This past week has been a trying time for all the citizens in our community,” Supple stated. “It’s a great opportunity to bring some normalcy back into our lives by cheering on the Tigers
Saturday night.”

+1
I'm assuming that if ESPN is involving themselves in broadcasting to the baton Rouge area than maybe Dish Network will broadcast the game on a ESPN alternative channel.
I know its showing paying information $29.99 on ESPN gameplan ch.461
I hope we get it free though.

I just checked espn 360 and the upcoming list show the game. Two days ago it did not so hopefully that means it is no longer blacked out.

I heard on the radio today that it will be free thru Tigervision for the entire state of La on Directv, Dish and various cable providers. We have Dish so I checked it out even though we are going to the game. The guide is showing it as available on channel 464. Check it out fellow Dish viewers.
