I serve our nation. Unlike Egypt, here the military isn't allowed to "fire the boss."
Besides where are Obama's three losses this year? Pretty sure he's 2-0 in the big game.

Very simple they got better each game, especially at QB. LSU was good but didnt take care of business when we had to.
Aub will be tuff next year but defense will be their liability.

I think Auburn's improvement over the season was due to the players learning/getting comfortable with Malzahn's offense. The early games were basically a preseason for them and LSU got them at the best time. MSU didn't have the talent to beat them in Week 1. Things really clicked at the Western Carolina game.

The defense never really got better from what I saw so the coaching argument doesn't hold up there.

Coaching is exactly what happened at auburn.
They were 3-9 last year and went zero wins in the SEC people.

Sure they had their share of luck but two things thats often said about luck is I'd rather be lucky than good and good teams/players make their own luck.

Remarkable turnaround in 2013 for the auburn Tigers.
My hat is off to them.

So LSU's coaching is 21 points better than Auburn's? I think you're under rating Malzahn a bit.

It sometimes takes a while for players to buy into a first year coach's approach and plan for the team. As the season progressed it became apparent Malzahn was gaining the trust of this team.

Its a talented team with an outstanding offensive mind leading them.

Well Malzahn was only away for a year and Auburn was still running his system so not sure why people r saying Aub had to buy into Gus' system.

Auburn has had some pretty extreme luck this season.

They only beat A&M because JFF came out for a drive late in the fourth quarter. That flipped the game from them behind behind a score to up a score.

They got the extremely flukey play against Georgia that is a once in a program play.

Then the last second play against Bama.

Had Mullen not brain-farted at the end of the game, Miss State would have beaten them too. This is kind of like 2010 where you're kind of scratching your head thinking "Auburn really isn't this good"...

Actually Auburn tried to run a pro-style offense without Gus there. However, the players shouldn't have had any trouble "re-buying" into his system after that disaster

Auburn won three games in last 30 sec and at least one of those was complete luck (UGA). Auburn could easily be 8-4.

then basically toyed with them the rest of the game.

Auburn against LSU ran the HUNH and wore the LSU Tigers down bad in second half.
