Miles' decision. If it were up to the other coaches Lee would have seen meaningful time, and a lot of it. Lee was stopped by Miles from going on the field last Sat

Players have said that he (Lee) has gotten more reps with the 1st team this week than in any previous weeks, FWIW.

I think only a few fools actually think this. But most of can see that by any reasonable measure, JJ has regressed. Is JL the answer, no one knows, but it is clear at this point that JJ is not.

I know its already been said, but if Lee is really no better, then Shep should be playn QB. Hell Why not? He can run alot better than JJ and i believe complete more passes than him.

Hey OC, this is at least as rational as our current approach to offense. Please send this to LM along with your resume!

Exactly! Thank you. Nobody is saying Lee is a world beater. Even though they are 4-0, anybody with functioning eyeballs can see that something on this offense has to change if we are to have ANY chance of winning the big games left on the schedule. The defense and special teams cannot carry the team if the offense is ranked last in the country!

Lee handed off on the zone read that he would've gained 1st down ydg on and then hurried a throw to TT before hitting progressions. I think that's why he didn't come back in.
People really show their fb ignorance screaming for a QB they haven't seen a decent performance from recently.
Just because you haven't seen much of him, JL is not neccessarily better than QB we have.

Apparantly JJ lights it up in practice and the coaches are just waiting for it to transfer over to the game.. if he were having shitty practices day in and day out the move would have already been made

I remember hearing the same thing about the Booty Davey era at LSU. Davey was shitty and lazy in practice, and Booty lit it up in practice from what I remember.

I don't believe we think it will solve all of our problems, but reports from the spring and summer suggest he has worked his tail off and may be ready to put the horrors of 2008 behind him. Last year was a disaster all around. It was obvious he was still in shock over 2008.

All I'm saying regarding JL is that we DON'T know if JL is the answer or not, and THAT is the problem. We have a large enough sample size to know, without question, that JJ is NOT getting any better. Now it's beyond time to see if JL has matured and improved.

No one can possibly point to JJ's stats for this season and come to the logical conclusion that he gives LSU the best chance to win without even taking a reasonable look at LSU's other option at QB.

I know this: LSU's run game has improved but it is nowhere near dominant enough for us to beat Bama or Florida, and it would be a real struggle for us to stay in the game with Auburn and Arky.

really? JJ is a shitty qb. there I said it. He can confidently run 6 plays. Since crowton told him to start passig it downfield more, he has proven the int to td ratio holds true for piss poor qb like most suspected in the second half of the arky game in 2008. Go back and show me which game he lead hs team to a victory over a QUALITY opponent?

don't mistake Lee faking a run after a hand-off as the zone read...as far as the pass goes, if I remember correctly he was under pressure and had to get rid of the ball. Finally, they put JJ back in as a way of saying "you're still the man"

The fans didn't either until the last month for some reason.

ETA: Meaning I don't know how the fans can despise a QB so badly, love the back up, but when the rolls are reversed, they love the guy they originally hated and hate the guy they originally loved.
