BHG is much louder by day, and can also hold an edge over TS at times(ex: big or close SEC games) in consistent sustained noise.

TS by night is tough to beat, especially games like UF '97 + '07 or USC '79.

BHG is louder because of a larger, less restricted student section.

Taken at one moment or another, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is as loud as Tiger Stadium. In the biggest moments of the biggest games of either school (a.k.a., both at their best) Tiger Stadium is louder. No doubt.

I think this may be true.

I personally could never tell how loud a stadium was from my seat. Gotta be low to really tell. I've been to Saints games that seemed way louder than any LSU game.

I went to the Swamp this year and I can say I came away VERY impressed. If Tiger Stadium is 1, then the Swamp is 1a. At times it was very very loud. However, it never got as loud as Tiger Stadium did for the 07 UF game, thus Tiger Stadium remains No. 1

When I was in the band and was on the sidelines before halftime, the loudest stadium I was ever in (at field level) was Jordan-Hare (it was either 89 or 90). It was louder than pregame in Death Valley.

That being said, this was before the expansion to Tiger Stadium, and I've never been to the Swamp.

The Swamp is louder, but Tiger is 2nd, with Neyland coming in at 3rd.

Both games I've been to at Tiger Stadium were at night and went to OT.

UF uses more piped in noise than any other sec stadium besides maybe SC. Not impressed with stadiums that use that much "fake noise" aka AU this year.

there are so many opinions because it mostly depends on where you are sitting

ben hill griffin seems more compact and every seat seems close to the field- this give it an edge, may be as loud, but not louder than TS for big games
