College football should follow the lead of the NFL and take steps to shorten games.

Tweak the rules, cut back on TV TOs (number and length).

Second, eliminate all the tv commercials over the PA system.

Third, upgrade the schedule. One La. Cupcake a year is plenty. Play only teams in our NCAA division.

Four attack the traffic problem and spend some $$$$ if need be. Parking too.

Every off season I answer the survey about ways that we could upgrade Tiger Stadium.

Every year I respond with one thing...... I just want my cell phone to work in Tiger Stadium. At this point I don't need data and cell service. I will settle for one or the other.

At the slow rate that they're moving, I might be able to legally drink in Tiger Stadium before I can use my cell phone.

How much control does LSU have over this? Telcos have to weigh the costs of advertising/sponsoring in the stadium, installing and maintaining equipment in the stadium, and possibly outside the stadium with the benefit of providing a big bump in service for a few hours 6 or 7 times a year. Even if LSU subsidizes the cost, it still might not make business sense.

It makes more sense in pro stadiums because those stadiums are used for more events than just an NFL game.
