No shite. We've gone down this road before on here. The pictures are really hard to tell. In person it's not the same shade or finish.

The color being wrong doesn't bother me as much as the legos on top. The finish can be fixed but we are fricked with those legos forever.

The title of these threads really should be the "Weekly hey get in here and bitch" thread.

Where would they relocate the bathrooms and concessions? Are they going to extend the outside facade? I couldn't imagine that looking great since the arches are already in place.

Well, that's what The Rant is for. I'd hate to meet most of these miserable fricks if there wasn't a place like this.

This. I pass by every day for class and they are noticeably different.

Isn't it nearly impossible to see both end zone exteriors at the same time? Also, won't aging/time/patina bring the colors (greyish beige or beigish grey) closer over time anyway? Plus around 2/3 of our home games are at night...

Couldn't you just use the same stuff you did on the north on the south? Is it that hard?

shite I recently painted a room at my parents house where I got the same paint color from 8 years ago to match.

Legos? I thought those were made to be like random trailers so that Auburn fans would feel more at home in the upper deck.

The east upper, west upper, and south upper are as inconsistent as it gets design-wise.

And all built within a 15 year period. That's what is amazing. Don't forget about the tan pre-cast concrete columns all over the place that match nothing.

I think a wall along the back of the legos and an overhanging, inclined roof on top would be an attractive and relatively easy fix to quell the incessant nagging.

[Derail thread for a sec] - I came across this picture today. I think Minnesota did a good job with their all glass suites.

I know I've heard people already anxious about suites/additional seating on the North Endzone. This is the only way I could LSU doing it with North Stadium Drive feet away from the stadium.

So, when if they expand the North side, just make another part of the stadium not match. Just make it look even more stupid.

They could use that concept AND make it match. Instead of glass facing the outside they could use the same coliseum look as the rest of the stadium.
