Well honestly it’s not about the light show. Stadiums all across the country are switching from metal halide to LED lights. High school, college and professional. Brighter and more efficient. Tens of thousands of dollars saved on maintenance alone.

Part of what makes/made Tiger Stadium so raw and intimidating was the pure passion, noise and excitement generated by the fans. But to appease the “cell phone in face till it’s time to bale at halftime” crowd we’ll just copy what bama and uga are doing.
