No contradiction.
It's a FACT that everyone has a right to their opinion.
It's also a FACT that the original Tiger Stadium, the East/West upper deck additions and all the new West side improvements DO NOT aesthetically/architecturally match up and blend together.
Whether or not you, me or anybody else likes or does not like some, all or none of what they're currently doing out there is just out personal OPINION. I like some of it and don't like other aspects of it, which is my OPINION. It's a FACT that I have a right to state that OPINION and for you to state yours.

I think it looks OK. Would rather have seen them choose some sort of metal looking letters to match some of the metal down below instead of the cartoonish purple and gold cardboard looking letters.
