Arguing this point is silly. I'm glad in the first two days of the New Year we won our bowl game and landed the #1 player in the nation.

Bama is 5-3 against us and almost beat us in 07.
They have beaten us by 3,4,11, 21, 21.
When we have an advantage Miles wants to keep it close. We only beat them by 3,3,4. It shows
Their coaches are vastly superior to ours.

You gotta love it. Instead of being happy that the defense finally looked like an LSU defense, that we landed the number 1 recruit in the country and that he bleeds purple and gold, all some folks can focus on is the last three lossess to Bama. Did the team fall apart on 1/9, yes. Did a freshman corner blow a coverage that cost the game the next year, yes. Did a team full of true freshmen, RS freshmen and sophomores go into tuscaloosa last year and lay an egg, yes. Does that mean they are incapable of beating Bama anygiven time they play, no. As a matter of fact, I will go so far as to say that if Mett doesn't force 3 interceptions in the first half at ole miss, effectively knocking us out of national title contention, they go into Tuscaloosa and win. And, I will say this if they are undefeated when Bama comes into Tiger Stadium this fall, Bama is going down. Last year is over, we have a lot to look foreward to this year.

I agree. yeah.. we don't have the "hardware" that bama does. but shite. we bettered them in 2011 in every facet but they got the trophy. And the only reason they were even in the championship in 2012 was because terrelle pryor sold his pants on Ebay. it takes drive, motivation, means, leadership, coaching, and (most of all) luck to win a championship.
bama has seriously lucked out in this run (not discounting what they've done).. but damn..
the staff, talent, and facilities are ahead or on par with the rest of the CFB world.. just need a little luck..
and I'm not gonna lie - we might not even need luck with LF.
Just like bama fans think their dynasty will never end (a lot of) LSU fans think this shitty 10 win season streak will never end..
but I'm in.. lady luck shined on us today.

Yeh, LSU has shown you the hardware you fricking moron. 2 national titles and 4 sec championships, and 4 bcs bowl wins. Miles gave you 1 national title and 2 sec championships, plus 2 bcs bowl wins.

You are just a p**** and cant enjoy it, appreciate LSU, and Miles, because Bama has won a little bit more hardware than LSU has, and not by much, and they lucked up and got our former coach who is best in biz.

They've won three since we won our last. Three out of five BCS championships is pretty good. We are a great program, and I'm very proud of where the program is, but Bama is a step ahead of us. Just unfortunate that they happen to be in the same division.

People seem to forget we went 14-0 in 2011. LSU went over 400 days straight without losing a football game.
Yeah, Bama took home the ball, but I will always cherish that team and season.

Look, Lou Holtz put it best during the bowl season. Coaches get complacent and want to maintain. Having a rival like UAT makes LSU better. CLM has to stay competitive with them. If he does not, he will be fired. That is how business works, right?

So So true, people don't realize that the negativity just has an overall effect of bringing program down, we have to lift program up
