Booing has no place in college sports unless it is aimed towards bad calls by refs.

Serious question. What is the age that you feel a "kid" becomes a "man", and should be able to handle being booed?

Well, as I stated earlier in this thread, I don't actually boo, so I guess we can still be friends.

What about a 23 year old, 5th year senior? So, you can boo someone who is 21 in the pros but not a 23 yr old in college who is on a free ride and knows what he signed up for?

I don't boo, but I sure as hell don't want him back on the field. Jarrett Lee not getting a shot to do better than Jefferson is bullshite.

Actually, I don't care so much, trying to lighten the mood. There are plenty of people I'd like to see booted who are really drunk.

I've never booed a player. Last night I thought what does it take for Miles/Crowton to see the light.

How do you boo a coach for sending out a player?

LSU can't fire Miles. He's better than the cost of the buy out. But if I were the AD I would DEMAND changes included Crowton's release.

Tenn. will load the front, stop the run and beat LSU unless Miles has a Revelation.

How good can the defense be if we find an offense?

i agree..you should never at any cost boo your own team in my opinion. the only semi-legit boo-able time was the insane amount of stupid penalties. thats just ridiculous

So unless or until you make it to the NFL, you're considered "a kid"?

Do you also continue to buy defective products and just stick with them and feel good with their deficiencies because you can think of yourself as "loyal".

Not that announcers carry a lot of clout...but they said during one booing that they don't blame the fans at this point.

When i use the term "kids" im not necessarily referring to age. It's has more to do with the fact that they're amateurs out there giving their best (even though that may not be very good) for nothing. And don't give me this "free ride" bullshite....they're out there busting their arse for nothing while everyone else makes millions. Go boo the guy thats on an academic scholarship after he makes a D on a test then.

The value of 5 years education, paid in full, room, board, numerous perks, travel, etc., etc., etc. has no value???

If he were doing it for the entertainment of the fans that paid money to watch, and got the D because he clearly didn't prepare, even though he tried hard on the test, would a boo really be that innappropriate?
