Let's remember the Saints had not yet tasted success and LSU was just realizing their new found prominence. I was born in Edmond, family all over OK, but raised in this wonderful yet flawed state known as Louisiana. I attended a private school in Jefferson Parish, and can honestly say I have relationships with some of the greatest people ever set into motion that just happen to be LSU graduates. They are my parents age (60). Take me in and feed me at any hour sort of folks. Are they passionate? Yes. Over the top at times? Yes. But take a look around our stadium....lord, it's a mullet redneck convention.

Looking at these boards is all the evidence one needs to know we have our fair share of ratards in the midst of our esteemed fan base.

Can we start worrying about winning games and stop all this who did what crap? It's pointless. All fans are poor. I have been an arse after a loss. Much of it correlates to my alcohol intake and, as a previous poster pointed out, my immediacy to my college years.

I love how everyone gives a new york reach around to bama. They are horribly obnoxious! They were bearable because they blew when we played them. How were they going to act? Like they were a contender? Tuck tail and leave the stadium like the .500 team you are and enjoy campus corner...you wear the same colors, it's easy to blend in.

Flash forward to a championship year later, and it's "we won 39 championships and rule the world". Give me a bteak. Gag.

Everyone sucks. Hell, I hate our fans a ton of the time. Watching a drunk frat kid (I had flashbacks) cuss at FSU fans in their place made me cringe.

Win games. Don't take pregnant to a vicious pigskin tussle. Grow a pair. Maybe living in the south again makes my skin a little thicker, but our fans are whiny. My uncle does it. I'm tired of his anti-LSU crap in front of my friends....docs, lawyers, etc. Sounds like sour apples that Chuck Long lost his playbook and White looked like a WWII vet in the pocket.

My wife is one. Oh yeah, she loves the Tigers. Just like everyone she gets behind her team and wears some purple glasses from time to time. Yet, she rooted for OU until we did what they rarely do...defecate the bed against an inferior 20+ point dog. It is much easier to be a tiger than a sooner since that game in the Sugar Bowl. I've observed that. They are much more consistent. It's a fact. When they are firing on all cylinders, they don't lay eggs. They take care of their business like men and look at the carnage later. They decapitated the kick returner three straight times last week. We have still yet to figure out how to successfully cover a kick consistently. Problems I worry about more than a corndog accosting me in the Quarter (where we won't be because our line can't block a bunch a goons with their guns up).

It kills me as I am a Sooner through and through.

WIN GAMES. The King didn't give a rats cornhole what we were....but winners.
