Let the bullshite legend live on. If you believe the stories posted about LSU fans, we'd be the equivalent of 30,000 roaming genghis khans, raping pregnant women and beating up children and old people...because apparently, if you read the stories online, the opposing fan bases don't have men, only bitches.

Since 2000 i've made about 3 road trips a season, sometimes more but two at the least. Never seen anything close to the stories except from the opposition in 2008 Florida and 2003 Oxford.

if it's on the internet, it has to be true, right?

I was at that game and those OU fans deserved every bit of it. Nick Satan had those Tigers ready to play. Cry me a river, Tiger Bait!!

Holy shite, are there some delusional whiny bitches over there.

I'm glad I wasn't there back in January of '04. The stories on various OU sites at the time were borderline shocking. It probably doesn't help that they've got a bozo like Less Mileage as head coach. He probably encourages their rotten behavior.

so mad

It was on the internets, so it must be true!

Dang. Sounds like what we experienced at West Virginia. Hmmm...maybe I'm sheltered, but in all my years, I've never seen this type of behavior from true tiger fans. Probably some low life's who jump on the band-wagon for big games.

Because almost none of it really happened. The OU fans were really bad. Worst I've been around. They were talking big smack before the game expecting to skull drag the Tigers. Every last one of them thought LSU didn't belong on the field with OU.

They were absolutely the worst sore losers I have ever seen in my life. All the LSU fans I saw walking out the dome were like us, cheering and happy. I didn't see a single LSU fan antagonizing the OU fans. I felt sorry for them for about 15 minutes. Until the OU fans began saying shite like "you boys will get what's coming to you". Not one single OU fan came up to me and congratulated LSU on the win.

Lost any respect I may have had for OU fans that night.

I will say it was a glorious night for many a LSU fan who had been waiting a long time to see LSU win a MNC. My wife and me flew from overseas to go to the game. We ended up sitting next to an LSU fan who was at the 1959 game against Clemson. We were in a great spot to see Spears' pick 6 and knew LSU had the game won. It was really cool celebrating with someone who had seen the last, and only, LSU National Championship.

Well keep in mind you're hearing one side of a story that can't be proven one way or the other.

Allow me to show what Steamy Ray is talking about.

2007 MNC. I was on Bourbon with some friends and there were plenty of OSU people there. A group of them had a bull horn and were yelling at us with it and blowing the siren right in our ears. Then they tried to fight me but it all got broken up. OSU fans are the worst.

For an OU fan in that bitching session, that would be the entire story but i left out a big part of it. The reason they tried to fight me was because while blowing the horn in my ear, i poured a beer in that bull horn and apparently that breaks a bull horn. So they were pissed. All I said was, shouldn't have put that thing in my ear. I would have gotten my arse beat if the fight would have taken place because there was about 8 of them and 1 of me at the time. But LSU fans around me were happy the bullhorn was gone, so they may have helped me.

I went back and read the comments provided by OU fans as part of the OP's link. This attempt to define Tigers fans is hilarious. For OU folk (married to an Okie), I guess everything has to be defined in Texas terms.

That game to me was like an end of a long streak where the sooners were an elite team in football.

Lol that's a great story. OSU fans were pretty obnoxious before the game, but the ones I talked to after were pretty humble and were good sports, unlike OU fans

Besides having those obnoxious hand claw motions into your face calling you "tiger bait".

I honestly have never seen this from an LSU fan ... pointing, yes... "hand claw" motions? I don't think so.

True, to some extent, but some of the shite he claimed happened would have been reported and the police would have been involved. Also, a curious little detail in his story has me suspicious. He mentioned a "claw" gesture with the hands by LSU fans yelling "Tiger Bait!" I've been going to LSU games for over 40 years, have heard and given the "Tiger Bait" taunt thousands of times, and I have never in my life seen any LSU fan make a "claw" hand gesture when doing it. We always just point at them. The fact that his story includes this oddly specific, yet 100% definitely made up, detail suggests he's making up the whole damned thing.

I guess it could be possible if he was hanging out on the wrong end of Bourbon Street.

This has to be the funniest post. At high school basketball games in Kentucky its just as bad get over it. Or man up. Or better yet DON'T GO.
