Ran it with the pregnant wife. Was pretty cool to run on the field.

Great route. Campus was beautiful as always.

The route and finishing in Tiger Stadium was awesome. The after race festivities were lacking. The only food options were the shitty concession stand food and there was one beer truck for the 4500 people that ran the race.

I'll give them a pass because it's the first year, but I was extremely disappointed to find out after finishing the race that the Aramark concessions were the only options for food after the race. I used all my tickets on beer instead of subjecting myself to that shitty food.

Agreed. Walked the 5K. Pissed but not surprised the free food ended up being three Aramark concession stands where the lines were way too long. Went to Waffle House instead.

Need some food trucks or tents next year.

The cool thing is I can wear the t-shirt around and know one will know I'm a fatty that only ran the 5k

Yeah, I hit up Kolache Kitchen on the way home and gained back all the calories I burned this morning

You'd think with all of LSU's corporate sponsors they could pull in some decent food trucks

Good run and will hit it again next year!!

32nd in my age group for the 5k... I'm ok with that.

Massive understatement. Beer selection wasn’t bad (Envie!), just needed another trailer or two.

Also, lines for the two photo ops were laughable.

That's awesome. I must say the hash browns smothered in white gravy were on point at Waffle House.

Aramark has got to go down as the worse/worst all-time hires by the LSU Athletic Department.

Even with all the well known negative feedback from other pro and college fan bases, they were brought in anyway.

Aramark and Alleva just naturally go together. They're both reflections of each other. Negligent and dysfunctional.

Both need to be shown the exit door and removed from Louisiana State University.............

I ran the 5k alongside my 14yo son while my wife and sister ran the 10k. Awesome route. People were great. Agreed about the food and beer being disappointing but other than that I found the event was very well run. We skipped the post race events opting to enjoy brunch at Sammy’s.

Once you got outside the stadium, the had tables setup and would print you a race ticket... per say. Time, age, where you placed in your div, overall finish, etc.

Looking forward to next year. Year 1 was great, I think year 2 will be improved.I wish they would have 2 races , a 5k in July and this race at the season's end

I ran the 5k in a little under 28 min. The route was tough, being that it was slightly uphill 75% of the race. Also, my watch and the watches of everyone else had the race being 3.20-3.23 miles.

My SO beat me by 3 minutes. I still havent heard the end of it. Was a fun experience, I'll prolly run again next year

The race was a lot of fun. I thought it was well organized with easy parking and everything. I ran a 5k through campus ending at the 50 yard line of Tiger Stadium and was shitty drunk before 9:30 am. That's a win.
