McCarron couldn’t hit a receiver when he saw him, and sometimes he never even saw him.

GG must be borderline retarded. Here's AJM's statline from the game:

16 - 28, 199 yds, 1 INT

Not a bad completion percentage against a great defense. If it wasn't for his passing, Bama would have never gotten close to scoring.

Then down 3-0 while on the Alabama 2 with time running out in the first half, Miles almost let the clock run out. But just before Flavor Flav had to be summoned for another neck clock delivery, quarterback Jordan Jefferson called timeout with one second to play. Drew Alleman came on to tie the game 3-3 on a 19-yard field goal.

Yeah, that's a flat out lie. The CBS broadcast clearly showed what Les was doing.

he means "rare" (one of the only) and not "only".

And he's still wrong, because it's not even rare. Of LSU's 13 overtime games, nine have included at least one scoreless overtime period for at least one team, and eight have seen one team fail to score any points in overtime...

1-LSU did not score in OT against Ole Miss in 1998
2-Tennessee did not score in OT against LSU in 2000
3-Mississippi State did not score in OT against LSU in 2000
4-Auburn did not score in OT against LSU in 2005
5-Ole Miss did not score in OT against LSU in 2006
6-LSU did not score in the 3rd OT against Kentucky in 2007
7-LSU did not score in OT against Alabama in 2008
8-Arkansas did not score in OT against LSU in 2009
9-Alabama did not score in OT against LSU in 2011

In only four of 13 OT games played by LSU have both teams scored in every OT period, and in only five have both teams scored at all in any OT period...

1-LSU and Oregon State both scored in OT in 2004
2-LSU and Tennessee both scored in OT in 2005
3-LSU and Alabama both scored in OT in 2005
4-LSU and Kentucky both scored in the first two OTs, but LSU did not score in the 3rd OT in 2007
5-LSU and Arkansas both scored in all three OTs in 2007

So, not only has it happened before, it happens most of the time, at least in LSU's OT games.

Guilbeau the Envious cannot write an article without a backhand swipe.

At the end of the half - even the commentators were mentioning that Miles was already telling the Ref that he was going to call a timeout after that play and that he should look at Miles for the signal.

That is what happened BUT in Guilbeau Goobers Crappy Writing Factory, the Chief moron decided to rewrite history as usual.

Guilbleau has a complete inability to watch a football game and grasp the same facts that millions of other seem to get with relative ease. He must have the IQ of a common fruit fly.

Yeah, if you want to criticize Miles for anything there, it would be the fact that he was clearly telegraphing a run play by his sideline antics.

Guilbeau's an idiot.

LSU didn't score any points on Bama in our ot game in '08. So it's not really something too unusual.

Plus all of the teams that started the OT on defense and had to score a TD to tie it. It happens fairly often that they are forced to go for it on 4th and don't make it.

That has been the case in four of the nine LSU OT games in which a team failed to score in an OT period. In the other five, the team failing to score either had the ball first, or were down by only a FG when they got the ball.

1-Against Auburn in 2005, LSU had the ball first and kicked a FG, then Auburn missed a FG on their possession

2-Against Ole Miss in 2006, LSU played defense first and forced a turnover

3-Against Alabama in 2008, LSU had the ball first and threw an interception

4-Against Arkansas in 2009, LSU had the ball first and kicked a FG, then Arkansas missed a FG on their possession

5-Against Alabama in 2011, LSU played defense first and forced a missed FG

So, in five out of 13 LSU overtime games, a team has failed to score even when it didn't need a TD and didn't have to pass up a FG attempt.
