This argument is so ridiculous it isn't even worth having. But just for the record:
#1. The first 16 games MSU played was against absolute dogshit competition.
#2. They were definitely in an offensive slump when LSU played them, as they scored only 12 against Central Arkansas the weekend before, and 13 & 9 against UK & Arkie the weekends after. That's not terrible, but it's still pretty bad.
You can even include 12 runs against UF the weekend after Arkie. It's still pretty bad.
#3. Their SEC stats on scoring runs are largely based on feasting against LSU on Sunday, and then beating up on TAMU & Aubbie the last couple of weeks. FACT.

Saturday is a big game for Eades.
I will absolutely agree with this. In my opinion I feel like Eades is really hard on himself and when he messes up he kind of starts mentally crumbling. Let's hope he's growing through that.

No. Don't say that.
I just did. If Eades struggles again saturday, we are in big trouble. Not being negative, its the truth.

This is hilarious. Dude LSU was their first SEC series. You said their offense wasn't good when LSU played them. Therefore, we are only discussing the first 20 games they played prior to conference play starting.
They were in an offensive slump because they scored 12 runs against Central Arkansas the week before? That's 3 games.

Again, you are the one trying to tout them up as some recent offensive success.
The argument is ridiculous because your points make absolutely no sense relative to the comment that you are trying to defend.
Thanks for the laugh though

I don't think there is muh arguing that. We need 2 dominant starters heading in to post season play. Hopefully he is just going through a little bit of a dead arm phase and will snap out of it real soon like.

Correct, i never want to go into another Game 3 of a Super knowing we're going to get our asses kicked, ever again.

Who needs 2 dominant starters when we've got two dominant 2nd basemen.

Yeah screw that. I want to see our fans high fiving our own team for winning our super regional...not the visiting team.

Bregman is the best freshman in the country IMO; he andTrea Turner are the 1a & 1b best SS in the country. But, Katz and Rhymes are still the two guys that stir our collective drink. Can we win when they are scuffling? We can, we have, and we will; but, when they are hot, we kick arse. Some of our fans want total domination every game, but those of us who were fans in the 90s just want to win out and get to Omaha. We are awed by this team.

I am glad we aren't playing great right now. We are still winning. It is almost impossible to go the entire season without a slump offensively (not that we are in a major slump). 2 weeks away from the box and still 4-2 is pretty good baseball.
