Wasn't that the "Hotard" bus? Heard some girls complaining about it while we were in Jackson, was it really that bad?

Yea it was the Hotard bus, uhh we had really cold AC and direct TV so we were able to watch ESPN the whole way. I was happy. I also had 2 seats to myself towards the front of the bus.

that complaint led to our Heater debacle, glad y'all didn't suffer the same fate we did.

the main thing that I can say about MISSISSIPPI is CLEAN, no trash on the road side campus was neat as can be and people were friendly, looked like a great place to go to school, all the old buildings are being upgraded, Starkville is a laid back southern town with character, hope that someday we have enough pride in our state to clean it up

My biggest impression of the town was the hardware store that had the handwritten sign:

"WE HAVE NEW GUNS"

When the after thought addition below it:

"And multiple tools"

I was shocked that a town like that has an SEC college to its name.

From the TV perspective, that was one nice looking field, especially with all the rain they had before and during the game..I dont know if my DLP TV was just super hi def that day or what, but the field looked great!...

btw, on behalf of the gripers of bus 4 I'd like to apologize for making people stop.

YOU!

Seriously, what was their logic in bitching to the point of making them stop?

You just had to suffer it for an hour longer.

And why did they ask our bus if we had two seats together? I could understand them getting a count of spare seats, but THAT? What, a love couple refused to be parted from each other?

bus 2

Same here

It was me that first said something when they were trying to start up that National Lampoon DVD.

Thank GOD it happened to be on when we walked in, otherwise I never would have known the bus could do that.

Nope the front of the bus, jokingly complained, but it was obvious the back was:

"It's cold"

then the heater issues started and every 5-10 seconds it was:

"OMG! It is soo hot, can you like please turn off the heater, God!"

I felt so bad for our SGA peeps. Dude had to keep repeating himself over and over. We had all but shut up, the people in the back were like "we can't hear" but wouldn't shut up to listen ...

I have no idea which couple didn't wanna get broken up (kinda funny though).

So they finally opened up the emergency vent in the back and put the heater onto vent (which was my only suggestion in the entire 2 hours). And about 20-30 mins away from LSU I hear someone in the back, "Now it's cold again."

I'm kinda wishing they wouldn't have put so many girls on one bus (and yes, I'm a girl complaining about other girls)
