are you calling Alan Dunn a liar?
this was from April 1st
quote:
LSU pitching coach Alan Dunn said Sewald isn’t having problems, he just needs more time on the mound.
“He kind of got behind from a health standpoint,” Dunn said. “So we’re trying to play catch-up a little bit and get him as many opportunities on the mound as we can so that he’s feeling his release point and feeling comfortable with locating his stuff.”
Dunn, like the other coaches, was unaware of Sewald’s unique role in giving the postgame speeches, but said it takes every player on the team contributing to make everything work. Whether it’s keeping a chart, observing the other team or building up a teammate, it’s all important.
“You know, if you’re not pitching or having been in the heat of the battle, there’s something you can do over here in the dugout,” Dunn said. “There’s a lot of things that you can do that’s going to benefit this team.”
“He’s going to get his opportunity,” Dunn said. “Obviously patience and timing are the key.”
LSU coach Paul Mainieri and Dunn will evaluate Sewald’s progress in the bullpen and play him at the appropriate time. Until then, fans won’t find Sewald shining on the mound but instead inspiring his the teammates to throw the strikeouts and hit the home runs.

No, I'm calling you a liar.
"he hadn't been pitching because of health reasons" which you wrote is not the same as "He kind of got behind from a health standpoint."
He has no health problems now. That's over. And it has been over for a while.
The problem now is his control, specifically throwing his curve for a strike. We saw evidence of that last night.
Hence, my earlier statement, he's an average pitcher right now.

his health problems had him behind the 8 ball. Not that hard to decipher.
Not sure how i can be a liar. those are direct quotes from ALan Dunn no less than 10 days ago.

This is kind of a pointless argument since it turns out you are both right. He wasn't healthy, so when he got healthy it put him behind the 8 ball to get live action and he needed longer to work on his pitches/stuff.

Not that hard to decipher.
He got a later start. But his health issues are over now and have been.
They were over "10 days ago" when Dunn said that, which Dunn made clear by saying the issue was Sewald wasn't "locating his stuff" in the quote you provided.

obviously they are over. He was pitching last night.
the minute he gets healthy, he doesn't just get thrown out there.
there is a reason pitchers make rehab starts.
you're someone that always cries about people being negatigers. You should need to apologize for being one yourself

I will be honest with you. After seeing Taylor Butler pitch last year I am surprised he is on LSU's roster. He was throwing mid 80's and wasn't all that impressive. It would surprise me if he ever pitches much at LSU. I can see Sewald's upside because of his incredible frame.

He's been pitching live for almost a month. Sewald pitched for 3 innings on March 19 in an inter-squad scrimmage. Mainieri told the Coaches Committee about it the next day before the Northwestern game. He said Sewald did "better" but still had a ways to go before he could pitch in a game because of his control.

Calling a pitcher's performance 'average' is not being negative, just realistic. And pitching for 2 innings and giving up 2 hits, one a double, and recording only 1 strikeout is 'average.'
He wasn't bad, just average.

Lol, you saw one curve. Ridiculous of you to say he can't locate it just seeing it one time, dumbass.

After they said all along he has had control/locating problems. He threw 2 innings and threw 1 breaking ball.

The fact that he only threw one should tell you something.
