White helmets, gold jersey and white pants? Could be just me, but I think that is pretty God Damn tight! Would be nice to see on Saturday afternoon!

I am a fan of wearing the white home and away that way we can't give the crappy Ohio State excuse of we were not allowed to wear our favorite jerseys.

the whites look legit and i've always thought they should do that. But after seeing the gold. I could definitely tolerate it for an occasional special game. better than that crap they wore at tulane in 07

I'm w/ you. Screw wearing white 90% of the time. Purple at home, white on the road, break out gold jerseys once every few years for a big game.

White helmet suck, but the rest of that uniform is tight. We are known for our gold helmets with LSU across them. Take that away and you ruin the brand. The rest of the uniform is interchangeable but you CANNOT change the helmet, and LSU never will.

I don't understand how anyone in this thread can hate on the white jerseys...
white jerseys are to LSU football as gold jerseys are to LSU baseball. It's tradition.

I like it for a change. I think that would be badass with gold pants,gold jerseys,white helmet too. The all white is good. We will always be known for gold helmets ,white jerseys and gold pants and the stripes(AS IT SHOULD BE ). But its great to change every once in a while, just keep the shoulder stripes and the pants stripe.That junk that nike gave them last year(jerseys without shoulder stripes, weird colored helmets) was hideous.Im tired of purple jerseys too.
