Honestly Johnson, Williams, and Reese are probably all you can pencil in right now. I'd bet big money the portal will be fruitful again.

You can add freshmen Mikaylah Williams and Aalyah Del Rosario to the starting lineup — the Lady Kobe and Lady Shaq of college basketball next year.

The starting five for a preseason number one or two team.

Mikaylah is the Williams I'm talking about. Pretty sure Ladazhia is done and I'm sure we'll beef up the front line through the portal. Not sure Del Rosario is an automatic starter depending on the vet that comes in.

A large contingent coming back. LaDazhia Williams and Alexis Morris are out of eligibility, I think. Not sure about Jasmine Carson.

We should get Reese, Poole, Johnson, Poa, and Smith all back. as well as a few others that didn't see much playing time.

We have verbal commitments from:

5* Mikaylah Williams (G HT 6-0 HS Parkway H.S. (LA))

5* Aalyah Del Rosario (Post HT 6-5 HS The Webb School (TN))

4* Angelica Velez (PG HT 5-7 HS The Webb School (TN))

4* Janae Kent (Wing HT 6-1 HS Oak Forest H.S. (IL))

Future looks bright to me.

The number 2 and number 10 ranked players according to ESPN. Some places have Williams number 1

IDk about that, she looked slow footed and overmatched in the McDonald game.
Symaya will put on some weight, work on her jumper and be a starter.
Williams
Poole
Johnson
Reese
Smith

McDonald's game isn't a good indicator for bigs in the women's game. It's a guard and wings game. Not saying there's no chance ADR starts but if we can get another experienced big like Ladazhia I wouldn't be stunned if that big started and Del Rosario is brought along more slowly.

Poa showed she can play the point if needed.

Morris, Williams, Carson, Ward all graduating.

Add in an exciting class and should be better next year.

Likely starting: Mikaylah Williams (#2 ESPN recruit 23) Poole, Johnson, Reese, Smith.

Poa, Aaliyah Del Rosario (#7 ESPN recruit 23), Amani Bartlett (#51 ESPN recruit 2021) coming off the bench.

Transfer portal also could be opportunity to again give incredible upside to the lady tigers

Wasn't sure if Carson had another year of eligibility left due to COVID, she is a grad student.

Mikaylah Williams is the best recruit since Seimone Augustus.

Agreed - she is 1b in this years recruiting.

Ideally, we can get a deadly 3 point shooter and another veteran big in the portal.

Williams and Poa can run the point.
