If you think the QB's are going to determine who wins you're very mistaken. You need to take a puff to clear you're head. Our defense vs. your offense, that's how the game's gonna go. Your team hasn't played a defense of this caliber in a long time (No Auburn last year isn't even close). Our DT's are young, but quick, strong, and smart. Three deep in DE's- where the second and third stringers could easily be starting at almost any school. Morris claiborne is considered the best shutdown corner in the SEC and you better believe he's going to play lights out so he can try and get some money in the NFL next year. We have three other great corners in TM7, TS24 and RB13. All three could start anywhere and TM7 was a Freshman All American last year. Baker's back as one of the best linebackers in the SEC. Yeah we lost Kelvin, which is a big deal, but we have one of greatest Linebacker coaches ever, and Hatcher gained weight to play the role, which IMO is a better fit because he was a dominant run stopping safety. In the deep back we have three excellent safeties that are the best triple threat you will ever see. Whether its run stopping or pass defending, they will do it all day. They have spent the last 8 months running, lifting, training, and watching film, just waiting for the chance to eat your offense alive. Saturday will be a great day for Oregon fans, you will get to see more future NFL players on an opposing defense than ever before and maybe never again.

Completely unnecessary to respond to a troll in this manner.

i get it, the sec is a bad arse conference, im not disputing that at all!
Then you freely admit that ignoring it as a factor in the stat differential is complete nonsense? Good, that's progress.

I'm not defending the flame started by the possible Oregon fan, but who exactly are you going to kick the shite out of? You on the team? Do you contribute outside posting on a message board?

TigerBoyinHawgland...3 years?? Try 3 months...

I am going to defend Jarrett Lee; if this was my 1st post...I never said he would torch the Ducks; but this PICK SIX shite way back in 08' gets old... he should have a solid game Saturday Night.

I still find it hilarious D Thomas was sleeping in a car going 118mph with the ganja burning...good college QB!

Maybe we should wait & see in a few years if these 2 QB's land a back-up role on an NFL team??

Not here to flame, or say one is better than the other.....I understand Lee threw all those picks in his Freshman year, understandable. I haven't seen him play enough to make a judgment yet. We are comparing apples to oranges. I think he was trying to get at, even though DT is a RS Junior this year. Last year was his 1st year as the starter. And he put up some incredible numbers for a first year QB. I don't think you can compare them right now. Lee had some great moments for your team last year and I am looking forward to seeing which qb comes out on top this Saturday.

Jarrett Lee has a national championship ring. Thomas....a big fat 0. Can't wait to hear the excuses you come up with and no don't say, "Lee redshirted in 07 and didn't contribute." His ring says frick you.

I have noticed several things about UO fans. The most obvious is... they are absolutely horrible at flaming.

I'm thinking it's because the Ducks have never won anything so they are not used to being in a position where they can talk shite.

Or it's just all the doobage they all smoke.

Embarrassing.

Yeah but it took a last second penalty to save LSU from losing to them.

Yea it doesn't bother me since he's just an Oregon troll. It's kinda like have an Arkansas troll. They put together a couple good seasons and here we go lol.

And sInce numbers are everything we should just hand Houston and Case Keenum all the hardware. Your qb is just a product of the system. Numbers aren't anything.

33 td passes

only had 30 Td passes.

2/1 vs. New Mexico (119th D)
2/0 vs. Tennessee (69th D)
4/1 vs. Portland State (lol)
2/1 vs. Arizona St (57th D)
3/2 vs. Stanford (21st D!!!)
1/0 vs. Washington St. (118th D)
3/0 vs. UCLA (94th D)
4/1 vs. USC (84th D)
1/0 vs. Washington (70th D)
1/0 vs. Cal (18th D!!!)
3/1 vs. Arizona (33rd D)
2/0 vs. Oregon St. (86th D)
2/2 vs. Auburn (60th D)

average defensive rank = 69 (and thats completely removing Portland State from the equation)

2 toughest games for Oregon were the one against a team with a defensive ranking near LSU and one against a team from LSU's division.

What does all of this mean? I dunno yet.

hell even a decent pocket passer can manage not to get -166 yards rushing in his carreer.
And yet, your stellar Thomas couldn't even manage 0 yards against the last SEC defense he faced . . . hmm, at -8 yard per game vs. decent SEC defenses, times about 15 games vs. decent SEC defenses Lee's had to play in, and Thomas would have racked up about -120 yards. Not bad for such a mobile QB, right?

Yes, we play in the SEC, which means we play the bad SEC defenses (like the one that held Thomas to 236 yards of total offense), and the decent SEC defenses (like the one that held him to -8 yards rushing), and the GREAT SEC defenses, which y'all haven't even seen . . .

yet.

I imagine if they wore pretty colors like purple and gold and pranced around flashing their tits for an assortment of colorful beads they could be on the same level of flame as Louisianans.

Considering you haven't personally won anything your really not in a position to talk shite either . Just some dude living with his mother wishing the glory days of pop warner had turned into something more glorious.

Considering you know that particular slang and the probability your still supported by your parents is fairly high, my guess is you smoked a bit of chronic in your day.

Yes you are.

Just giving a shot at this talking shite thing.
