I think everyone can agree that Darron Thomas is the better QB. But you also have to admit that Lee is the better passer.

Stopped reading here. Lee hasn't barely even had 1 full game to himself much less 1 season.

Lee hasn't started a game in over 2 years, so using his career stats that consist mainly of what he did his redshirt freshman year in 2008 is a pretty retarded way of judging him

But what do I know, I'm not intelligent and "knowledgable" like you

thomas vs. lee
Thomas has thrown for 3149 yards and 33 td passes with 6 rushing touchdowns (513 yards rushing) all that in just one year of playing,, Lee has 2643 yards, with 18 touchdowns with a big 0 rushing td's in 3 years of playing (-166, yes that is negative 166 yards rushing lmao), with that said, how can you justify saying that Lee is gonna light Oregon up this saturday? his stats are,, well lets be honest they are pretty shitty for 3 years of playing time! Btw, Yes i know it wasnt full time starting at quarterback.
Cant wait to hear the excuses you guys come up with, and no, dont say "because we play in the SEC" im tired of hearing that, since its the only thing that gets said by the homers on this board, im hoping some of the more intelligent and knowledgable posters that i know are on here will respond!

You compare the QBs and then ask how we justify ours lighting your defense up.. The whole logic of this thread is flawed. I think he lights you up because, regardless of you saying y'all rotate 25 players on defense, the Taft remains that you lost like 7 of your top ten tacklers from last year and 5 of your front 7. You also lose cliff Harris, who was your pick 6 machine, and yes I know you have depth at CB.
But your fans have already said how they're going to stack the box to make us beat you with the pass. Well, Reuben randle attempts to smile at this notion.
I don't think Lee "lights you up" because I think he gets about 18 passes. We get a lead and sit on it, while your defense gets a heavy dose of Ware, Gore, Ford, Magee, Hilliard, Copeland. They are going to love that. As for Thomas, I hope he is serviceable after our DEs get through with him

Why didn't you respond to the rest of my post frick face? Truth hurts? You're a program of little consequence and even less accomplishment. Boise State is more accomplished than Oregon.

You say don't bring up the SEC but that's the big thing. The level of competition played against matters. I'll answer your question with another question.. who has the better stats..

A) 3845 yards, 71.3%, 10.04 YPA, 35 TD's, 6 Int's, 6 Sacks.

B) 3338 yards, 70.7%, 8.97 YPA, 32 TD's, 8 Int's, 6 Sacks

C) 2772 yards, 65.0%, 8.6 YPA, 27 TD's, 11 Int's,

or your 3149 yards, 33 passing TD's

Thomas is a system qb. He fits oregons offense like a glove. The qb position on oregons team is far more important than on lsu's team. Lsu wins on defense, running game, and speacial teams. Oregon runs 1000 plays a game and is the polar opposite of lsu offensively.

again, that was his FRESHMAN year. he's thrown 2 picks in his last 129 attempts (none returned for a TD), but please don't even pay attention to that. it hurts your credibility
